Metro Department Store and Metro Supermarket Promo

1. Open to all new BPI customers who will apply for BPI #SaveUp account in any Metro Department Store or Metro Supermarket branches from March 1, 2024 to April 30, 2024.  Promo extended until June 30, 2024.

2. All new customers who have successfully opened a BPI #SaveUp account will be entitled to a Php 100 Metro Gift Certificate that can be used in Metro Department Stores and/or Metro Supermarkets.

3. The Customer must scan the QR code available in the store to apply for or open an account. The application for a BPI #SaveUp account is deemed completed when it reaches the confirmation screen in the BPI app.   

4. Confirmation Screen should be presented at Metro Department Store Customer Service Counter within 1 hour of where the customer performed the account opening. 

5. Metro Customer Service Officer should ask the customer to click the back button/icon on the phone to verify if the customer did a live application in the store. 

6. The Php 100 Metro Gift Certificate is valid immediately when verified by the Metro Customer Service Officer. Once verified, redemption of Php 100 Metro Gift Certificate can be availed 60 days after the promo period. Gift Certificates are valid for 12 months from the claiming date.

7. Metro Sales Personnel will direct the customer to the Metro Department Store Customer Service Counter for redemption of the Php 100 Metro Gift Certificate. The Metro Customer Service Officer will ask for the customer's name and mobile number used in the account opening. He/she will log the customer information manually for control and reporting purposes.

8. Opening a BPI #SaveUp account is subject to the existing policies of BPI. 

9. In case of dispute, the decision of BPI with the concurrence of DTI, will be deemed final.

1. To redeem the Php 100 Metro Gift Certificate, account holders need to show their confirmation screen of BPI #SaveUp to Metro Customer Service Officer.

2. The Php 100 Metro Gift Certificate can be redeemed at Metro Department Store Customer Service Counter. Claiming of Php 100 Gift Certificate can be availed 60 days after the promo period and valid for 12 months from the claiming date.

3. The Php 100 Metro Gift Certificate is not transferable and convertible to cash. Once redemption is made, it cannot be cancelled, reversed, or applied to another item.

4. The BPI accountholder shall be responsible for safekeeping his confirmation screen. BPI and Metro Retail Stores Group Inc. shall not replace the redeemed P100 Metro Gift Certificate.

1. BPI accountholders whose BPI #SaveUp accounts are inactive, suspended or closed will no longer be qualified.

2. All questions and issues arising from and in connection with the Promo will be accepted within the Promo duration, after which BPI shall no longer accommodate disputes.

3. BPI is not an agent of any of the participating merchants and makes no representation as to the quality of the goods and services provided. Any feedback regarding the quality of the goods and services provided should be directed to the respective partner merchants.

4. BPI and its subsidiaries are not liable for any loss, damage, or personal injury whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect and consequential loss) suffered or sustained in connection with the use of the prize. BPI and its subsidiaries shall be held free and harmless and indemnified from any and all liabilities, losses, damages, suits, expenses, taxes, fees and costs arising from or in connection with the BPI accountholder’s participation, availment of and/or use of the eGCs or prize under the Program.

5. In case of dispute in respect of BPI only and the BPI accountholder’s availment of the Program, the decision of BPI with the concurrence of DTI shall be considered final. However, if the dispute involves the partner merchant and its performance and/or delivery of the product to the BPI accountholders, subject to the general provisions set out above, the decision of BPI and the partner merchant, with the concurrence of DTI, shall be considered final.

6. By participating in this Promo, the BPI accountholder agrees that the Bank may collect information, such as, but not limited to, mobile number and e-mail address. Should he win game cards or be awarded eGCs, the BPI accountholder likewise agrees and consents to the display and disclosure of his name on the BPI website and Facebook page.

7. Terms and Conditions governing BPI’s Products, Services, Facilities and Channels, which are made an integral part hereof by reference, shall likewise be resorted to in instances where these are applicable to this Promo.
