Transfer funds via InstaPay

1. Log in to the BPI app or through a web browser.

2. Tap Move money > Transfer money > To another bank/e-wallet.

3. Select your source and enter the details of the destination account.

• If the destination account is saved as a Favorite, just open the Favorites tab and select it from the list.
• You may also upload the destination account’s QR code by tapping the QR icon in the upper right corner on the app or upload QR code when using a browser.

4. You should see under the Amount field that the transfer is via InstaPay. Type in the amount you want to transfer, then tap Continue.

5. Review the details and confirm the transfer using Mobile Key.

That’s it! The details of your money transfer will be sent to your BPI-registered email.

2. Tap More > Generate QR.

• When using the BPI app, you may also tap the QR icon at the bottom of your screen to access the Generate QR button faster.

3.Select the account you want to generate a QR code for.

4.Enter the nickname you want to be displayed on top of your QR code, then tap Generate.

That’s it! Save your QR code to your device so you can conveniently access and share it anytime.

Log in to the BPI app, then tap More > Security > Update mobile number or Update email address and provide the required information.

InstaPay is an interbank funds transfer service under the National Retail Payment System (NRPS) of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) which allows clients to electronically transfer funds up to Php 50,000 per transaction, between their BPI account and other accounts in participating banks and financial institutions in the Philippines, anytime, anywhere.

These are the default limits per transaction:

• Send money to other banks via InstaPay: Php 50,000
• Send money to other banks via PESONet: Php 250,000

You can transfer up to an aggregated amount of Php 250,000* per day. This limit includes cash-ins to other partner apps and websites, load prepaid phone and prepaid card, load other prepaid, transfers to other BPI accounts (unenrolled), Instapay transfers, pay e-Gov, pay on delivery, and BPI to Cash.

*A higher limit is available to BPI Preferred, BPI Gold, and BPI Private Wealth clients.

You can adjust the limits on the BPI app. Log in to the app, tap the settings icon (⚙️) in the upper right corner then scroll down to Transactions. Tap Customize transaction limits.

A fee of Php 10 is charged for Instapay transfers to other banks or e-money issuers.

Note: For unsuccessful transfers, applicable fees will be refunded.

InstaPay is available 24/7 via BPI Online and the BPI app.

Funds transferred via InstaPay will be credited to the recipient's account real-time.

In case of non-real-time credits to recipients, you may send us a message or contact our 24-hour BPI Contact Center at ‎(+632) 889-10000 to check the status of the transaction.
