How to send cash with Cebuana Lhuillier

For the sender:

1. Go to BPI Online and click "BPI to Cash." You can also open your BPI Mobile app, swipe up, and tap the BPI to Cash banner.
2. Choose a payout partner for cash pickup.
3. Fill in the details of the receiver.
• Amount to send
• Receiver’s name (first name, middle initial, last name)*
• Receiver’s mobile number
4. Confirm the details, read and check the certification box, and press “Next”.
5. Enter registered email address.
6. Log in to your BPI Online account.
7. Select which from your BPI accounts you would like to use, then press “Pay” (A service fee of Php 99 will be charged per send out).
8. Enter the One-time PIN (OTP) sent to your registered mobile number and click “Proceed”.
9. Get the 13-digit BPI to Cash reference code that will appear on the confirmation screen. Send it to the receiver.

For the receiver:

1. Get the 13-digit BPI to Cash reference code from the sender. Cebuana Lhuillier will send an SMS to notify you on the availability of the money at their branch.
2. Go to the nearest Cebuana Lhuillier branch.
3. Inform the teller that you are claiming via BPI to Cash.
4. Present a valid ID** and the 13-digit reference code upon claiming.
5. Get the cash.

*The receiver's name must match the ID presented upon claiming.

For the sender:

1. Go to BPI Online and click "BPI to Cash." You can also open your BPI Mobile app, swipe up, and tap the BPI to Cash banner.

3. Fill in the details of the receiver.
• Amount to send
• Receiver’s name (first name, middle initial, last name)*
• Receiver’s mobile number

What is BPI to Cash?

BPI to Cash is BPI’s newest facility which allows BPI account holders to send or pay cash within the day to any receiver through any domestic pay-out partner. You just need your receiver’s full name and mobile number. BPI clients can access this through BPI Online or mobile app.

Who can send/pay cash to a receiver?

BPI clients with a savings or checking account and are enrolled in online banking.

How can I send/pay cash to the receiver?

For the sender:
1. Go to BPI Online and click "BPI to Cash." You can also open your BPI Mobile app, swipe up, and tap the BPI to Cash banner.

How much is the fee for the transaction?

The fee is Php 99 for every processed transaction. This already includes the processing fee charged by our partners.

What is the allowed maximum amount and number of transactions per day?

Maximum amount is Php 10,000 per transaction.

There is no limit on the number of transactions, provided that the client has not maxed out BPI Online and mobile app’s daily limit of Php 50,000 worth of transactions for unenrolled accounts, prepaid loading, and cash ins.

When will the funds be available to the receiver?

For Cebuana: Funds will be available for pick-up at Cebuana Lhuillier branches 1 hour after the transaction is processed by the sender. Transactions processed beyond 4:00 pm shall be made available the following day.

For Palawan Express:
Funds will be available for pick up at Palawan Express branches 4-6 hours after the transaction is processed by the sender. Transactions processed beyond 1:30 pm shall be available the following day.

How can the receiver claim the cash?

The receiver can go to any of the remittance partners’ branches, provide the transaction reference code, and present a valid ID.

What is the availability of the service?

For the sender: Available 24/7 on BPI Online and mobile app for transaction processing.

For the receiver: Our domestic payout partners are open every day. However, due to the COVID-19 situation, business hours of our domestic payout partners’ branches may change depending on the location.

What if I missed to get the transaction reference number?

The 13-digit transaction reference code is found in the standard email notification from BPI Online. This is sent to your registered email address.

Can I change the name or mobile number of the receiver?

Once the transaction is authorized or confirmed, the name or mobile number of the receiver cannot be changed. Should the sender wish to change the name or mobile number, the sender will need to request for a cancellation of the transaction.

For cancellations, please contact our support center via our hotline (+632 889-10000; or 02 889-10000) or email (help@bpi.com.ph). You will be given instructions and the turnaround time for the cancellation and reversal.

Please note that we will only be reversing the principal amount which will exclude the Php 99 fee.
