How to transfer funds to other banks

You can go through the BPI app or BPI online via web browser to make PESONet money transfers using your recipient’s account number.

1. Log in to the BPI app or through BPI online via web browser.

2. In the main menu, select Move money > Transfer money > To another bank / e-wallet.

3. Choose your Source account from your enrolled BPI deposit account/s.

4. Select the bank of your recipient as Destination account.

5. Type in the account details of your recipient.

6. Enter the amount you want to transfer.

7. Make sure that you select PESONet transfer service when sending money to other bank.

8. Click Continue.

9. Review the details of your transaction and the total amount to be deducted from your account. Then hit Confirm.

10. Approve the trasaction with your Mobile Key or using biometrics.

What is PESONet?

PESONet is an interbank funds transfer service under the National Retail Payment System (NRPS) of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) which allows clients to electronically transfer high-value funds between their BPI account and other accounts in participating banks and financial institutions in the Philippines.

What is the difference between InstaPay and PESONet?

InstaPay and PESONet are two interbank funds transfer services under the National Retail Payment System of the BSP. Here are the differentiating features of InstaPay and PESONet:

What is the maximum allowed amount and number of transactions?

These are the default limits per transaction:

Send money to other banks via PESONet: Php 250,000
Send money to other banks via InstaPay: Php 50,000

You can transfer up to an aggregated amount of PHP 250,000* per day. This limit includes cash-ins to other partner apps and website, load prepaid phone and prepaid card, load other prepaid, transfers to other BPI accounts (unenrolled), InstaPay transfers, Pay eGov, Pay on Delivery, and BPI to Cash.

*A higher limit is available to BPI Preferred, BPI Gold, and BPI Private Wealth clients.

You can adjust the limits on the BPI app. Log in to the app, tap the settings icon (⚙️) in the upper right corner then scroll down to Transactions. Tap Customize transaction limits.
