Conditions
1. The reward entitlement shall be based on the client segment classification reflected in BPI’s records at the time the qualifying investment funds transaction is placed.
2. Eligible Investment Products shall refer to the BPI Wealth-managed or distributed investment products, including investments booked under a Portfolio Management Account (PMA), that are specifically identified in Annex A (List of Eligible Investment Products) and are available for subscription during the Promo Period. For purposes of this Promo, only Eligible Investment Products listed in Annex A and successfully subscribed to and booked during the Promo Period shall qualify. BPI and/or BPI Wealth reserves the right to amend, update, suspend, remove, replace, or otherwise modify the list of Eligible Investment Products in Annex A during the Promo Period, subject to applicable laws, rules and regulations and prior notice, where required.
3. A qualified client may make multiple eligible investment funds placements during the Promo Period; however, only one (1) reward shall be awarded per qualified client.
4. Rewards are non-transferable, non-convertible to cash, and may not be exchanged for any other item unless otherwise determined by BPI.
5. The determination of qualified clients and corresponding reward eligibility shall be subject to BPI’s validation and verification of compliance with all Promo requirements.
6. The awarding and fulfillment of rewards shall be conducted within the timeline communicated by BPI after completion of the validation process.
7. Valid Source of fresh funds eligibility:
7.1. Fresh funds
• Refers to funds sourced from outside Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) and deposited into the client’s eligible BPI CASA or Deposit Account during the Promo Period.
• Fresh funds must not have been previously included in the client’s Total Relationship Balance (TRB) prior to the Promo Period.
• The qualifying amount shall be based on the net increase in funds, after deducting any withdrawals, transfers, or outflows made during the Promo Period.
7.2. TRB Maintenance Requirement
• If the client’s existing TRB decreases during the Promo Period, any subsequent deposits equivalent to the amount of the decrease shall not be considered fresh funds.
• Only incremental funds exceeding the client’s highest pre-Promo TRB level shall qualify as fresh funds for the Promo.
Sources of Funds Not Eligible for the Promo
For clarity, the following sources of funds shall not qualify for any reward under this Promo:
1. USD Parked Funds
• Refers to existing USD-denominated funds maintained in the client’s BPI CASA or Deposit Account(s) and already included in the client’s Total Relationship Balance (TRB) prior to the start of the Promo Period.
• Such funds shall not be considered fresh funds for purposes of Promo eligibility.
2. PHP Parked Funds
• Refers to existing PHP-denominated funds maintained in the client’s BPI CASA or Deposit Account(s) and already included in the client’s Total Relationship Balance (TRB) prior to the start of the Promo Period.
• Such funds shall not be considered fresh funds for purposes of Promo eligibility.
3. Funds from Existing Investment funds, Insurance, or Portfolio Rebalancing
• Funds arising from the redemption, sale, withdrawal, maturity, or liquidation of existing investment funds products, insurance policies, or other financial instruments held through BPI shall not qualify as fresh funds.
• Funds generated from the rebalancing, switching, or restructuring of an existing investment funds portfolio shall not qualify for the Promo.
• Funds invested in insurance products are not eligible for this Promo.
• Proceeds from Fixed Income securities that mature or are mandatorily redeemed outside the applicable qualification period shall not qualify for the Promo.
Reward Fulfillment
• Gift Certificates shall be awarded only after the qualified client has successfully completed the required three (3)-month maintaining period.
• Clients who satisfy all Promo requirements shall be entitled to receive their Gift Certificates within sixty (60) banking days following the completion of the required three (3)-month maintaining period, subject to BPI’s validation and verification.
