Step 1: Download the BPI app and log in

1. Install the BPI app on your device that contains your BPI-registered SIM card.

2. Open the app, then tap Log in.

3. Log in with your BPI online account username and password.

For a secure and seamless banking experience, please make sure your device meets the following requirements:

  • Operating System: iOS 14, Android 8, or higher
  • Device must not be jailbroken, rooted, or modified.
  • For Android users, ensure “Developer Options” is turned off in your device settings.

The BPI app will only run on secure devices to protect your account and personal information.

 

Step 2: Register your device

This step helps us ensure it's really you accessing your account. Do not switch apps during this process.

1. Make sure your SIM can send one (1) text message.

2. Choose Secure SMS.

3. Tap Send SMS.

a. If you have an Android device, you'll be asked next to allow the BPI app to send SMS Messages and get device info. Select "Always allow." 

The app will automatically send the registration text message for you. 

b. If you have an iOS device, the app will open Messages with a message like below. Tap "Send."

Step 3: Turn on Mobile Key

Activating Mobile Key allows you to authorize your transactions or web logins quickly and securely.

1. Tap More at the bottom of your app home screen.

2. Scroll down to Settings, then tap Security.

3. Tap the toggle for Mobile Key.

4. Nominate a 6-digit Mobile Key PIN code.

5. Enter the One-Time PIN (OTP) that you will receive in your BPI-registered mobile number.
