In compliance with BSP Circular no. 1112-2021, BPI will centralize the process of issuing Bank Certificate of Deposit (BCD) for client requests regarding confirmation of accounts and deposit balances. This centralization will be handled by the Head Office, and the issued BCDs will be digitally signed by authorized bank signatories.
The BCDs will be sent to the client’s address or made available for pick-up at their nominated branch. These digitally signed BCDs are legally equivalent to traditional handwritten versions, provided they are sent through the bank’s official email address.
Centralized BCD issuance is now implemented bank wide.
