Wais Saver Raffle Promo

Get a chance to win up to Php 50,000 when you increase your BPI deposit account’s Average Daily Balance (“ADB”)¹ by at least Php 3,000 by the end of the Promo Period, through BPI’s Wais Saver Raffle Promo (the “Promo”).

General policies

1. These Terms and Conditions govern the Promo for select BPI deposit accountholders who: (i) receive a notice from BPI of their eligibility to join the Promo; and (ii) increase their BPI deposit account’s ADB by at least Php3,000.00 by the end of the Promo Period, subject to the eligibility requirements further prescribed hereunder.

2. The Terms and Conditions governing the use of BPI #SaveUp account, BPI Regular Savings account, BPI Regular Checking account, BPI Saver Plus account, BPI Pamana Savings account, BPI Online and BPI Mobile App, BPI’s Products, Services, Facilities and Channels, as well as the BPI Data Privacy Statement, are hereby incorporated by reference and shall form an integral part hereof. 

Eligibility and participation

1. The Promo, which shall run from  January 1, 2024 to March 31, 2024 (“Promo Period”), shall be open to all BPI deposit accountholders who (“Eligible Accountholders”):

(a)   receive an email and/or SMS from BPI of their eligibility to join the Promo; and

(b)   increase the ADB of their BPI deposit account by at least Php3,000 by the end of the Promo Period. 

2. Eligible Accountholders shall be entitled to earn one (1) raffle entry for every Php3,000 increase in the ADB of their deposit account reckoned on the last day of the Promo Period, versus the month-to-date ADB (MTD ADB) of their account as of December 29, 2023.

¹ Average Daily Balance or ADB is the sum of the daily end-of-day balances of the account for the month, divided by the number of calendar days in a specific month.

The computation of the incremental ADB, for purposes of determining the number of raffle entries, will be the MTD ADB on the last day of the Promo Period less the MTD ADB on December 29, 2023.

Formula for computing ADB is as follows: 

(Day 1 ending balance + ... + Day 30/31 ending balance) / number of days in a month

3. The raffle draw will be conducted on April 12, 2024 at 7^th Floor, BPI Family Savings Bank Head Office, Paseo De Roxas corner Dela Rosa Street, Makati City at 10:00 AM, with representatives from BPI and DTI via Zoom.

4. An Eligible Accountholder may only win once during the Promo.

5. Raffle winners will be notified via SMS and/or email on or before April 17, 2024.

6. BPI reserves the right to suspend or disqualify any person from further participation in the Promo if, in its judgment, that person has violated the terms and conditions herein. Suspension or disqualification may result in the cancellation of the individual's right of participation and/or the economic equivalent of all rewards enjoyed.

Prizes

There will be one (1) winner of Fifty Thousand Pesos (Php 50,000) and ten (10) winners of Ten Thousand Pesos (Php 10,000). The prize will be credited to the savings account of the winners.

Other terms and conditions

1. The prize offered under the Promo shall not be convertible to cash, credit, privileges, rewards and/or other items/products. The prize is non-transferable and may only be availed of by the Eligible Accountholder.

2. There will be no opt-in required for this Promo.

3. In case of disputes in respect of BPI and the Eligible Accountholder’s availment of the Promo, the decision of BPI with the concurrence of DTI shall be considered final.

4. Any dispute related to this Promo will only be entertained if submitted within sixty (60) banking days after the end of the Promo Period.

5. BPI, with the concurrence of DTI, reserves the right to terminate, discontinue, or suspend the Promo at any time.

6. The Terms and Conditions governing the use of BPI #SaveUp account, BPI Regular Savings account, BPI Regular Checking account, BPI Saver Plus account, BPI Pamana Savings account, BPI’s Products, Services, Facilities and Channels, which are made integral parts hereof by reference, shall likewise be resorted to in instances where they are applicable to this Promo.

7. The Promo shall be subject to periodic review to ensure compliance with BPI’s policies and procedures, as well as with BSP rules and regulations and other applicable laws. 

8. BPI and its subsidiaries are not liable for any loss, damage, or personal injury whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect, and consequential loss) suffered or sustained in connection with the use of the prizes.

9. BPI employees and their relatives up to the 2nd degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified to join the Promo.

10. BPI will shoulder the tax, if any, for the prize (20% tax for raffle Promo prizes exceeding Php 10,000).
