I. Eligibility and Participation
1. The Mastercard x BPI Australian Open 2027 Exclusive (the “Promo”) is open to all Principal Cardholders of participating BPI Mastercard Credit Cards whose accounts are in good standing during the promo period. The participating BPI Mastercard Credit Cards are as follows:

c. Petron BPI Card
d. BPI Platinum Rewards Card
e. BPI Rewards Card
2. Qualified BPI Mastercard Credit cardholders will get a chance to win Super Row tickets to the Australian Open 2027 when they use their BPI Mastercard Credit Card.
3. The following audience is excluded from participating in the campaign: (1) any employee of BPI and its relatives, Mastercard and its relatives, and employees and relatives of any third party agency contracted by Mastercard or BPI to execute any Campaign who (a) participated in any phase of any Campaign (definition, design, development, approval or execution) or (b) has or had access to confidential or privileged information about any phase of any Campaign (definition, design, development, approval or execution); (2) BPI’s Executive Management; and (3) BPI´s employees in the marketing and credit cards (including its Information Area) who have the authority to make or ability to influence business decisions. This statement shall be included in the Official Rules for all the campaign.
4. The cardholder will get a chance to win when they meet the minimum accumulated spend requirement of PHP 50,000 on qualified transactions and be the highest spender within the promo period.
5. Transactions made by the Principal Cardholder, including all qualified linked BPI Mastercard Credit Cards of the Principal Cardholder and his/her Supplementary Cardholders shall be considered as the Principal Cardholder’s spend under this promo. Only qualified transactions made by the Principal Cardholder using his/her BPI Mastercard Credit Cards including its supplementary card will be qualified for the promo.
- Only transactions made within the promo period will be qualified for the promo.

- MCCs: Merchant category code (MCC) is a four-digit number assigned to every business that applies to accept credit cards. The number corresponds to the type of business or service the company offers.
6. Only the Principal Credit Cardholder is eligible to be the winner of the Mastercard x BPI Australian Open 2027 Exclusive.
7. A BPI Mastercard Credit Cardholder may only win once throughout the duration of the promotion.
8. By participating and qualifying in this promo, the Principal Cardholder agrees to abide by the terms and conditions provided herein.
9. The Principal Cardholder must have updated contact details (email address and mobile number) in BPI’s records.
10. Any dispute concerning the service/s related to the promo offer shall be settled directly between the Cardholder and the Bank with the concurrence of DTI.
11. The offer shall not be convertible to cash, or credit, nor exchanged, substituted, or redeemed for any other product, benefit, or consideration. Transfer of offer may be allowed in the event of denial of winner’s visa application, or in such circumstances subject to BPI’s prior approval and sole discretion, with concurrence with DTI.
II. Prizes
1. There will be a total of four (4) winners of the Australian Open 2027 Round 1 Package for two (2) people, which shall be inclusive of the following:
- Super Row tickets to the Australian Open 2027 Night Sessions on January 17, 18, and 19, along with a guided city tour
- 5 Days 4 Nights premium hotel accommodation with breakfast in a double occupancy room
- Roundtrip business class flights for two (2) people, non stop
- Roundtrip airport transfers from Melbourne Airport to the hotel, transportation to and from all planned events, and select meals are included
- Dedicated onsite concierge/host
2. All prizes are not transferable and not convertible to cash and not for resale.
3. Winners will be responsible for all expenses related to their travel, including the processing of travel documents (such as passports, visas, and travel insurance), travel taxes, and any other personal expenses. The prize only includes hotel accommodation for two, transportation between the hotel accommodation and the venue, roundtrip business class flights for two, dining experience, leisure experience, and dedicated onsite concierge/host from January 16 to 20, 2027 (5D4N).
4. The Australian Open 2027 Round 1 Package is tax-free. 20% prize taxes shall be shouldered by Mastercard.
5. BPI will notify and contact the winners to confirm acceptance of the prize. Winners must confirm their participation within forty-eight (48) hours from the primary contact of BPI. If the winner is a Private Wealth or Preferred client, they may coordinate with and seek assistance from their respective Relationship Manager. Failure to respond within the specified period will result in forfeiture of the prize, and a backup winner may be selected subject to prior DTI approval. Upon confirmation, the winner will be endorsed to Mastercard for prize fulfillment and claiming.
III. Program Implementation
1. BPI and Mastercard will electronically generate the leaderboard data and will be drawn using an electronic program.
2. The announcement of leaderboard winners will be on December 1, 2026 and shall be conducted virtually using the Mastercard system in the presence of representatives from BPI and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
3. The winner will be announced through BPI’s social media platforms, press releases, and/or electronic direct mail, and will be notified via registered mail, e-mail, Viber, and/or SMS within thirty (30) banking days after the announcement of leaderboard winners.
BPI will notify and contact the winners to confirm acceptance of the prize. Claiming of the prize will be within forty-eight (48) hours from the primary contact of BPI. If the winner is abroad or in the province and can’t reply within 48 hours due to connectivity or time‑zone issues, we can allow a short grace period. Any initial acknowledgment (even a brief message through email, SMS, Viber, Whatsapp) can count as their confirmation, and they can complete the remaining requirements once they’re reachable. We can also allow confirmation through a representative or via any available channel. If the winner is a Private Wealth or Preferred client, they may coordinate with and seek assistance from their respective Relationship Manager. If the winner fails to respond within this period, the prize shall be forfeited and awarded to a back-up winner upon prior approval from DTI. Upon confirmation, the winner will be endorsed to Mastercard for prize fulfillment and claiming.
If, for whatever reason, the winners do not want to avail their respective prizes, they may notify BPI by calling BPI Contact Center to opt-out. BPI reserves the right to award another winner, with the concurrence of DTI-FTEB.
4. To claim the prize, the winner must submit his/her valid government-issued ID and show his/her valid BPI Mastercard Credit Card and a signed winner acknowledgement form.
5. Winners will be responsible for all expenses related to their travel, including the processing of travel documents (such as passports, visas, and travel insurance), travel taxes, and any other personal expenses. The prize only includes hotel accommodation for two, transportation between the hotel accommodation and the venue, roundtrip business class flights for two, dining experience, leisure experience, and dedicated onsite concierge/host from January 16 to 20, 2027 (5D4N).
6. The winner’s card must be active, valid, and in good standing from the start of the promo period until January 2027.
7. All tickets, bookings, and merchandise in connection with the Prizes were procured and supplied by Mastercard. Any issue/concern pertaining to the tickets and activities/itineraries shall be raised to and addressed/settled by Mastercard. The winners and his/her companion shall have sole recourse against Mastercard in case of any issue on the tickets and/or the activities/itineraries, including but not limited to changes/delay/cancellation of flight schedule, refusal of admission in the venue and non-admission in the hotel shall have no recourse whatsoever against BPI, its directors, officers, employees, and representatives.
8. Upon claiming of the prize, the winners agree to free BPI and Mastercard from any liability for damages suffered as a result of using the prize(s), provided such damages are not the result of serious and deliberate misconduct on the side of BPI or Mastercard. BPI and Mastercard shall not be held liable for any claim related to the rewards. Consequently, BPI and Mastercard shall not entertain any request for indemnity of reimbursement accompanying such claim. BPI and Mastercard will electronically generate the leaderboard data and will be drawn using an electronic program.
9. Each attendee consents in writing to Tennis Australia Limited using their personal information and photographing/recording them while they are participating in any activity or event run or organised by Tennis Australia. Each attendee agrees that any such photographs, electronic images, sound recording or video footage may be used by Tennis Australia in resources and reports, or promotional, advertising or marketing materials, without any further notice or payment to the winner.
10. All Australian Open tickets are issued subject to the Australian Open Ticket Conditions of Sale and Entry. The winner consents to Tennis Australia Limited using their personal information and photographing/recording them while they are participating in the any activity or event run or organised by Tennis Australia which constitutes part of the prize. The winner agrees that any such photographs, electronic images, sound recording or video footage may be used by Tennis Australia in resources and reports, or promotional, advertising or marketing materials, without any further notice or payment to the winner.
Other Conditions
1. The Principal Credit Card (applied for during the promo) must be active and current at the time of awarding. If the eligible card is cancelled during the Promo Period, it will no longer be eligible for this Promo. In the event of a card conversion, upgrade, or any change in approved card type during the Promo Period, the Eligible Cardholder shall remain eligible to participate in the promotion. However, the cardholder will be classified under the newly approved card variant, and all applicable promo mechanics, including leaderboard ranking and winner determination, shall be based on such card variant.
For example, if a cardholder upgrades from a BPI Gold Rewards Card to a BPI Platinum Rewards Card during the Promo Period, the cardholder’s qualifying spend will be considered under the BPI Platinum Rewards Card category.
Note: Given the relatively short promo period of approximately one (1) month, cardholders are encouraged to carefully consider any card conversion, upgrade, or replacement requests, as the processing time for such requests may affect their ability to fully participate in the promotion.
2. Unless otherwise stated, this Promo cannot be combined with any other existing bank promotion. In case of disputes relating to the Promo, including but not limited to eligibility, coverage dates, and fulfillment, BPI’s decision, with the concurrence of DTI, shall be final.
3. Any fraud, abuse, or unauthorized action involving credit card transactions or participation in the Promo may result in disqualification, suspension and/or cancellation of card privileges, at BPI’s discretion.
a. The terms and conditions governing the issuance and use of BPI Credit Cards are deemed incorporated herein by reference and shall apply where relevant to this Promo.
b. By participating in this promo and/or claiming the prize, the winner of the Promo, and their companions hereby agree as follows:
- BPI is authorized to provide information of the winner, and their companions to third-party contractors or agents to implement the promo including the announcement of leaderboard winners and the procurement of prizes.
- BPI is authorized to collect the personal information of the winner, and their companions during the travel, including but not limited to their name, mobile number, and e-mail address. In this connection, BPI may, subject to compliance with applicable rules and regulations, use and disclose the personal information of identified winners, including their name, photographs, for marketing purposes related to this promo and the winner, his/her transferee, and their companions agree to waive any right to royalties, fees or any form of remuneration for such use on BPI website, BPI social media pages, and press releases.
- BPI has the right to take their photographs and videos during activities within the travel, event, and staycation period and to use these photographs and videos in any and all post-promo publicity/communication materials /media, whether online and offline, and other marketing materials of BPI. In this connection, the winner, and their companions are deemed to have waived any right to any royalties, fees or any form of remuneration for such use on BPI social media pages, electronic direct mail, and press releases.
- Where applicable, the winner shall execute, and/or their companions to execute, a consent form setting forth the above.
4. This Promo is subject to periodic review to ensure compliance with BPI policies and procedures, BSP rules and regulations, and other applicable laws.
5. Employees of the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), its subsidiaries and affiliates and other third-party agencies directly involved in this promo, and their relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity, are disqualified from participating in this Promo. In case the declared winner is found to be falling in any of the categories described in this section, the winner is automatically disqualified, and a buffer winner will replace the disqualified winner.
6. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws, all warranties—whether express or implied—are excluded. BPI makes no representation or warranty, express or implied, with respect to the prizes awarded under this Promo.
7. The Bank, in concurrence with DTI, reserves the right to terminate, discontinue, or cancel the promo at any time.
8. BPI and its subsidiaries are not liable for any loss, damage, or personal injury whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect, and consequential loss) suffered or sustained in connection with the availment of and/or participation in the Promo.
9. The Promo shall be subject to periodic review to ensure compliance with the Bank’s policies and procedures, as well as with Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (“BSP”) rules and regulations and applicable laws.
