Who can join the Promo?

The promo is open to Principal BPI Credit Card customers who apply for an eligible credit card within the promo period and who meet all of the following conditions;

Did not have an existing principal BPI Credit Card; and
Did not have BPI Credit Cards which were cancelled within the last twelve (12) months prior to application.

How can I qualify for the PHP 500 Bonus eGC when applying for two (2) BPI Credit Cards

For customers who wish to avail themselves of two (2) qualified BPI Credit Cards under this Promo, the application for the second card must be submitted within ten (10) calendar days from the date of application of the first card.

I spent PHP 20,000 on my BPI Gold Rewards Card and PHP 10,000 on my Petron BPI Card. Can I combine these amounts to meet the PHP 30,000 spend requirement?

Spend accumulation shall be on a per-card basis. For customers who avail themselves of two (2) qualified BPI Credit Cards, spend transactions shall not be combined across cards to meet the spend requirement of one (1) card. If the Eligible Cardholder meets the spend requirement for only one (1) card, only the corresponding welcome gift for that card shall be awarded.

How can I register for the promo?

Each Eligible Cardholder shall receive a unique alphanumeric promo code via his/her registered mobile number and/or email address as reflected in BPI’s records, for purposes of Promo registration. For customers who avail themselves of two (2) qualified BPI Credit Cards, only one (1) unique alphanumeric promo code shall be issued per Eligible Cardholder.

How will I know if my registration entry was received?

Upon successful submission of registration details, Giftaway will send a confirmation to validate the registration: via SMS for customers who registered through text-in, or displayed on the registration portal for those who registered via eGC Hub.

I am a Supplementary Cardholder. Can I register for the promo?

Only the Principal Cardholder who receives the official SMS and/or email communication from BPI with the unique promo code may register and participate in the promo.

I did not receive an email or SMS with the promo code. How can I get my promo code?

The eligible Principal cardholders may call our 24-hour BPI Contact Center at (+632) 889-10000 to get his/her unique promo code within the registration period. In case there is a change in contact details, cardholder should also update his/her email address and mobile number on record to get the registration confirmation from Giftaway.

I got the SMS approval on April 1, 2026. Do I follow the spend period for April?

The SMS approval is sent on the next banking day from system approval, which means the card was approved on March 31, 2026. Thus, the registration and spend period is from March up to May 2026.

What is the basis for determining if my transactions qualify for the promo — the transaction date or the posting date?

The basis for your transactions to be included in the promo is the transaction date reflected in BPI’s system.

How will I know if I met the spend requirement and qualified for the eGCS?

Eligible Cardholders can track their qualified accumulated transactions through the eGC Hub. The total accumulated amount, based on transactions posted as of the cut-off dates below, will be updated in the eGC Hub within two weeks after each cut-off date.

If I qualify for the welcome gift, will I also receive the Annual Membership Fee waiver?

Not necessarily. The spend requirement for the Annual Membership Fee waiver is separate from the welcome gift and is computed over a one-year period. You must meet the specific annual spend requirement to qualify for the fee waiver.

I activated my card within 30 days from my approval date. Will I receive the bonus eGC?

Yes. All eligible cardholders who activate their card within forty-five (45) calendar days from the approval date will receive the PHP 250 bonus eGC, subject to promo terms and conditions.

I applied for two cards and activated them within 45 days. Will I receive two PHP 500 bonus eGCs?

No. To qualify for the PHP 500 bonus eGC, both cards must be applied for within the promo period, and the second card application must be submitted within ten (10) calendar days from the first card application date. Meeting the activation requirement alone does not automatically qualify you for two bonus eGCs.

My card was approved, but I activated it two months later. Will I still receive the bonus eGC for card activation?

No. The application must be submitted within the promo period, and the approved card must be activated within forty-five (45) calendar days from the approval date to qualify for the card activation bonus. Activation beyond this period will no longer be eligible for the bonus eGC.

I have already met the spend requirement as reflected in the eGC hub. Can I redeem my eGCs?

Principal Cardholders may redeem their eGCs only after the awarding date and within the specified redemption period.

I have already redeemed the eGCs at the eGC Hub. Do these expire?

Yes. The expiry date of each voucher is indicated in the eGC Hub. All unused and unredeemed eGCs will be deactivated sixty (60) days from the date of posting of each eGC in the eGC Hub, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.

I have met the spend requirement for the Annual Membership Fee (AMF) waiver. Will my AMF be waived immediately?

No. The awarding of rewards will follow the official awarding period and the applicable Annual Membership Fee (AMF) waiver terms below:

I want to cancel and change the merchant GC that I redeemed. Is that allowed? I want to cancel and change the merchant GC that I redeemed. Is this allowed?

No. Once a valid redemption has been completed in the eGC Hub, it can no longer be cancelled, reversed, or transferred to another merchant eGC, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.

I was approved for a BPI Amore Cashback Card; however, I decided to upgrade to a BPI Platinum Rewards Card within the spend period. Can I have the transactions from my BPI Amore Cashback Card transferred to my BPI Platinum Rewards Card to meet the spend requirement and qualify for the welcome gift?

Yes, transactions made using your previous card will be reflected and counted under your newly approved card. However, the applicable spend requirement and welcome gift will follow the terms and conditions of the BPI Platinum Rewards Card.

I decided to upgrade my card from a BPI Amore Cashback Card to a BPI Platinum Rewards Card and will meet the spend requirement based on the BPI Platinum Rewards Card to qualify for the welcome gift. Do I also need to follow the BPI Platinum Rewards Card spend requirement to qualify for the Annual Membership Fee (AMF) waiver?

Yes, the applicable spend requirement will follow the terms of the BPI Platinum Rewards Card for the welcome gift. However, for the Annual Membership Fee (AMF) waiver, any conversion, upgrade, or change in card type during and after the Promo Period will result in disqualification from the AMF waiver benefit.
