With the announcement of Petron BPI cardholders being able to earn fuel rebates from all Petron stations, we have prepared a guide for you to better understand the process of receiving fuel rebates reflected in your Statement-of-Account (SOA).

Starting February 20, 2025, Petron BPI cardholders will earn 3% rebate on all Petron fuel transactions. Petron fuel transactions swiped through a BPI-Affiliated terminal (BPI Point-of-Sale Terminal) will continue to be automatically posted on the succeeding Statement of Account following the transaction date, while Petron fuel transactions swiped through a non-BPI-Affiliated terminal (non-BPI Point-of-Sale Terminal) will be posted on the second month following the transaction date. Depending on your Statement Date or cut-off date, the rebates earned from a non-BPI Affiliated terminal may be posted either on the second or third Statement of Account following the transaction date.

Rebates earned from the transaction made through a BPI-Affiliated terminal are posted in the succeeding Cardholder’s Statement of Account (Feb 15 and Mar 15) and are reflected as PETRON-BPI MC FUEL REBATE.

Whereas rebates earned from a non-BPI-Affiliated terminal are posted two (2) months following the transaction date (Jan 14), and are posted on the third Statement of Account following the transaction date (Mar 15) and is reflected as PETRON-NONBPI MC FUEL REBATE.

Scenario 3:  Customer’s statement date is every 8th of the month.  Customer made Petron fuel transactions through a BPI-Affiliated terminal and a non-BPI-Affiliated terminal in January.

Rebates earned from the transaction made through a BPI-Affiliated terminal are posted in the succeeding Cardholder’s Statement of Account (Feb 8 and Mar 8) and are reflected as PETRON-BPI MC FUEL REBATE.

Whereas, rebates earned through a non-BPI-Affiliated terminal are posted two (2) months following the transaction date (January 14), and are posted on the third Statement of Account following the transaction date (April 8) and are reflected as PETRON-NONBPI MC FUEL REBATE
