Airport Lounge Access Program Terms and Conditions

1. Qualified Cardholders.  Airport lounge access in selected partner airports (“Airport Lounge Access Program”) is available to active BPI Corporate Credit cardholders in good credit standing issued by Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI).

Marhaba: A 25% discount will be applied to the Lounge entry fee for any guests of the cardholder and shall be charged to his/her BPI Corporate Credit Card. A Concessionaire’s Privilege Fee (CPF) of seven percent (7%) and & twelve percent (12%) Value Added Tax (VAT) will be added to the Lounge entry fee. 

PAGSS: A walk-in published rate shall be applied to the guest/s of the cardholder.  

c. Children. Only children age two (2) years old and below (with or without seats) are allowed to enter the Airport Lounge free of charge and will not be counted as guest of the cardholder. 

2. What to Present. To avail of the Airport Lounge Access Program, the cardholder and, if applicable, the permitted guest, must present the following: 

a. Active and unexpired BPI Corporate Credit Card; and

b. (i) Passport and same-day boarding pass for the international flight upon entry; or (ii) Same-day boarding pass for the domestic flight pass upon entry.

3. How to Avail. To avail of the Airport Lounge Access Program, the following procedures shall apply: 

a. The cardholder must present the documents listed under paragraph 2 to the designated frontliner/s; 

b. Designated frontliner/s shall validate that cardholder is the one redeeming the free airport lounge access; 

c. Card will be swiped at POS for PHP 1.00 which will immediately be reversed;

d. Designated frontliner/s will check if the name on the BPI Corporate Credit Card matches with the name appearing on the following: 

i. Boarding Pass; and,  

ii. Passport; 

e. Designated frontliner shall fill-out the Cards Member Tracking Data.

4. Cards Member Tracking Data. By availing of the Airport Lounge Access Program, the cardholder expressly consents to the collection, use, processing and storage of the following information relating to the cardholder: 

a. Date of Entry

b. Last Name 

c. First Name

d. Last 4 digits of BPI Corporate Credit Card 

e. Flight No. 

f. Signature of the redeeming cardholder (must be the same as what is on the back of the BPI Corporate Credit Card presented) 

g. Passport (where applicable) 

The foregoing information will be collected by the airport lounge partner and shall be shared with BPI. The airport lounge partner and BPI shall process, use and store the information collected for the purpose of the administration and implementation of the Airport Lounge Access Program and in accordance with their respective data privacy policies. 

5. Not Valid in Conjunction with Other Promos. The Airport Lounge Access Program privilege is not valid in conjunction with other discounts, privileges, vouchers or promotional benefits offered by the airport lounge partner unless otherwise stated in its terms and conditions. 

6. Not Convertible. The Airport Lounge Access Program privilege is not convertible to cash, credit or other goods and services.

7. Disclaimer of Liability. The cardholder understands that BPI is not responsible for the operation, maintenance and management of the airport lounges. The cardholder agrees to hold BPI free and harmless from any and all losses or damages suffered or incurred by cardholder arising from or in connection with his/her availment of the services of said airport lounges.  

8. Amendment. BPI may, at any time and for whatever reason it may deem proper, amend, revise or modify these Terms and Conditions and any such amendments shall bind the cardholder. The cardholder shall be notified (through any of the means provided under Section 19 (Notice & Communication) of the BPI Corporate Credit Cards Terms and Conditions) of any amendments, revisions or modifications to these Terms and Conditions at least sixty (60) days prior to the effective date thereof, unless the amendments, revisions or modifications shall take effect as otherwise directed by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas or provided by applicable laws, rules or regulations. If the cardholder objects or is not amenable to any such amendments, revisions or modifications, the cardholder agrees not to avail of the Airport Lounge access. If it is not possible to provide the notice mentioned above due to time constraints beyond the airport lounge partners’ reasonable control, the airport lounge partner shall provide BPI with written notice as soon as reasonably possible.

9. Suspension or Cancellation. Fraud, abuse, unruly behavior or any unlawful or unauthorized action relating to the use and availment of the complimentary Airport Lounge Access Program privilege may result in the disqualification of the cardholder from the Airport Lounge Access Program, suspension or cancellation of his/her card privileges, or the charging of the full cost of the airport lounge access (subject to prevailing lounge access fee) to the cardholder’s corporate credit card account, at BPI’s discretion. This is without prejudice to any other legal action that may be taken by BPI against the cardholder. 

10. Dispute. All questions or disputes regarding the cardholder’s eligibility for or availment of the lounge access shall be resolved by BPI. The decision of BPI shall be considered as final. 

11. Governing Law and Venue of Action. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Venue of all suits directly or indirectly arising from the relationship between the parties herein shall be in the proper courts of Makati City, Philippines or in other courts in the Philippines where BPI has a branch or office.

12. Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions. By availing of the Airport Lounge Access Program, cardholder agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as the same may be amended, revised or modified from time to time in accordance with the terms hereof. Likewise, the cardholder and his or her guest(s) shall abide by the terms and conditions governing the access to and use of the partner airport lounges. 

13. Terms and Conditions of BPI Credit Cards. These Terms and Conditions form an integral part of, and must be read together with, the BPI Corporate Credit Card Terms and Condition, as the same may be amended by BPI from time to time, and which terms and conditions are incorporated here by reference. and shall likewise be resorted to in instances where they are applicable.
