Credit Card Cash Advance FAQs

Principal and supplementary Cardholders of the following BPI Credit Cards are eligible for Cash Advance:

• BPI Rewards Card
• BPI Gold Rewards Card
• Petron BPI Card
• BPI Edge Card
• BPI Corporate Card*
• BPI Amore Cashback Card
• BPI Amore Platinum Cashback Card
• BPI Platinum Rewards Card
• BPI Signature Card
• BPI Omni Card**
• BPI Free+ Card**

*For Corporate Cardholders, please course all requests through your Company’s Corporate Admin.

**For BPI Omni and BPI Free+ Cardholders, Cash Advance over-the-counter facility at BPI branches, Cash Advance via ATM and other PIN-based transactions are not yet available. BPI will notify the Cardholder through any of the communication channels provided under Section 22 of the BPI Credit Cards Terms and Conditions once these services become available.

The BPI eCredit Card, or any other BPI Credit Card with disabled Cash Advance Facility, cannot be used to avail Cash Advance.

You may request your CCPIN via Help & Support 

1. Login to BPI Help & Support.

2. I have a/an BPI Credit Card Request.

3. About PIN.

4. Select the appropriate Customer, Card Type, and Card Number from the drop down.

5. Click Submit.

You will receive your PIN via SMS to your registered mobile number within three (3) banking days.

You may also request by calling our 24-hour BPI Contact Center at (+632) 889-10000 (Metro Manila) or domestic toll free 1-800-199-89100 (Available to PLDT subscribers), or request through any BPI Branch nationwide.

The CCPIN issued to your card may already be used and does not require PIN Change. Should you wish to change your assigned PIN, you can go to any BPI ATM and do the following:

a. Choose language

b. Select “Change PIN” from the ATM Menu

c. Enter new four-digit PIN twice

d. Enter pre-assigned PIN found in your CCPIN SMS  

e. Wait for the confirmation that PIN has been successfully changed.

Note: PIN Change for BPI Omni Card and BPI Free+ Card is currently not available. Once PIN Change becomes available, BPI will notify the Cardholder through any of the communication channels provided under Section 22 of the BPI Credit Cards Terms and Conditions.

You may immediately avail of Cash Advance as soon as your BPI Credit Card is activated.

No. Each BPI Credit Card has a unique pre-assigned CCPIN.

The CCPIN issued to your card may already be used and does not require PIN Change.

Reminder: To prevent unauthorized use, never share your PIN to anyone.

No, we have discontinued the use of PIN Mailer as a mode of delivery of the CCPIN. 

The SMS containing the pre-assigned CCPIN will be sent to your registered mobile number 3 banking days from receipt of PIN request.

Note: PIN for BPI Omni Card and BPI Free+ Card is currently not available. Once PIN becomes available, BPI will notify the Cardholder through any of the communication channels provided under Section 22 of the BPI Credit Cards Terms and Conditions.

No, the CCPIN will only be sent to your registered mobile number. Please make sure that your registered mobile number with us is updated. 

Each card will have its own pre-assigned PIN. To determine which CCPIN refers to which card, the CCPIN SMS includes the Card Product variant and the last 4 digits of the credit card.

The minimum amount for Cash Advance transactions is Php 500.

Yes.  A Cash Advance fee will be charged for every Cash Advance transaction. Additional charges may be applied by other bank’s ATM per transaction.

Cash Advance transactions will be posted on the Cardholder’s account on the transaction posting date, and will be included in the next statement.

Yes, Cash Advance transactions and Cash Advance fees are subject Finance Charge from transaction posting date until transaction and fee are fully paid.

Yes, the CCPIN can be used for Cash Advance transactions and for international in-store purchases that require the input of PIN. These international POS terminals also include self-service or unmanned kiosks. 

Yes, POS terminals abroad like in European countries, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, India, Indonesia, and Malaysia require the cardholders to input a PIN instead of signing a charge slip. 

It is advisable that you inform the merchant that you are using a credit card and not a debit card. If the merchant insists, then you may use your CCPIN to complete the transaction.

You may have exceeded the number of allowable tries. You can reset your PIN by calling our 24-hour BPI Contact Center at (+632) 889-10000 (Metro Manila) or domestic toll-free 1-800-188-89100 (Outside Metro Manila), or visit any BPI Branch.
