How to transfer money to own account

1. Log in to BPI Online or BPI Mobile app then select “Transfer Money.”
2. Fill in the details and select “Transfer to own account.”
3. Select the account you would like to transfer to.
4. Confirm the details of your transaction. Click on “Confirm.”
5. Enter your Mobile Key or One-Time PIN (OTP) then select “Submit.”

How to transfer money to other BPI accounts

1. Log in to BPI Online or BPI Mobile app then select “Transfer Money.”
2. Fill in the details and select “Transfer to 3rd party.”
3. Enter the recipient’s account number.
4. Confirm the details of your transaction. Click on “Confirm.”
5. Enter your Mobile Key or One-Time PIN (OTP) then select “Submit.”

Note: A transfer fee of Php 10/transaction will also be deducted from your account. However, you can still transfer money for free if you transfer via QR Code or to an enrolled account.

How to transfer money via QR Code

To other BPI accounts
1. Log in to BPI Online or BPI Mobile app then select “Transfer Money.”
2. Fill in the details and select “Transfer to 3rd party.”
3. Upload/scan the recipient’s QR code.
4. Confirm the details of your transaction. Tap on “Confirm.”
5. Use Mobile Key or enter your One-Time PIN (OTP) then select “Submit.”

To other local banks*
1.
Log in to BPI Online or BPI Mobile app then select "Transfer Money"
2. Fill in the details  and select "Transfer to 3rd party."
3. Upload/scan the recepient's QR code.
4. Confirm the details of your transaction. Tap on "Confirm."
5. Enter your Mobile Key PIN, fingerprint, or face ID to approve, then select "Submit".

How to create a scheduled transaction

You can create a scheduled transaction in 3 ways:

1. Go to Other Services > Manage Scheduled Transaction.
2. Set the schedule while doing your bills pay, transfer money, or prepaid card load transaction. The scheduling option is part of the fields to fill out.
3. After a successful transaction, a pop-up will also appear, asking if you’d wish to schedule that transaction in the future.

How to create and customize your QR Code

1. Log in to BPI Online or BPI Mobile app and select “Other Services.”
2. Select “QR Generator.”
3. Select account to generate QR code.
4. Create a nickname for your QR Code. QR nicknames can have a maximum of 10 alphanumeric characters.
5. Enter the amount (optional).
6. Select “Save to Device.” You can now start sending the QR code instead of giving your account number.

How to enroll an account to transfer money without a fee

1. Log in to BPI Online and go to “Other Services.”
2. Select “Manage Recipients.”
3. Click on “Add new recipients.”
4. Select "Other Person's Accounts."
5. Fill in the details and click "Next."
6. You will need to print, sign and email the form to onlinebanking-enrollment@bpi.com.ph

How to add an account to Favorites

After sending to an unenrolled account, prepaid card, or phone, you will be asked to save the recipient as a “Favorite.”

How to transfer money to another local bank

1. Log in using the BPI Mobile app and select “Transfer Money.”
2. Select “Transfer to another bank.”
3. Select the bank you want to send money to and fill in the details.
4. Choose whether to:

a. Enter the recipient's account number
b. Upload/scan the recipient's QR code.
c. Enter the recepient's registered mobile number**
d. Enter the recipient's registered email address**

5. Confirm the details of your transaction. Click on “Confirm.”
6. Use your Mobile Key PIN or smartphone’s biometrics to approve.

*Available for InstaPay transfers to BDO, Metrobank, Landbank, Unionbank, RCBC, Chinabank, Philippine National Bank, Maybank, Asia United Bank Corporation, Sterling Bank, Philippine Savings Bank, Paymaya, Starpay Corporation, Allbank, Card Bank, Queen City Development Bank, Robinson's Bank Corporation, Rural Bank of Guinobatan Inc.

How to link a mobile number or email address to your BPI Online account?

1. Log in to BPI Online or BPI Mobile app then go to “Other Services.”
2. Under transactions, select “Link a Mobile Number or Email.”
3. Select a deposit account to register and nominate its nickname.
4. Choose whether to link* your registered mobile number or email address.
5. Confirm the details of your transaction. Tap on “Confirm.”
6. Enter your One-Time PIN, then select “Submit.”

*You can only link your mobile number or email one BPI account at a time.

How to make a Dollar to Peso funds transfer

1. Log in to BPI Online and go to “Transfer Money." Select “Dollar to Peso” tab to fill in the details, then click “Next.”
2. Review your transaction details and click “Confirm” to proceed.
3. Transfer done! Keep the details of your transaction for reference.

Note: The Dollar to Peso funds transfer facility is available to card-based BPI US Dollar and Peso accounts during Mondays to Fridays (except on holidays), from 9:30am to 9:30pm Philippine Standard Time. The availability of the US Dollar to Peso funds transfer facility may change without prior notice.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a limit to the amount that I can transfer in a day?

There's no limit to the amount that you can transfer to your own and enrolled accounts.

​​​​​​​For unenrolled accounts, each source account can transfer a maximum amount of Php 50,000 per day. To ensure the protection of your account, Mobile Key or One-Time PIN is also required for every transaction.

What is the maximum number of accounts I can enroll as third party?

You can now enroll up to 99 accounts.

Can I delete an enrolled account in real-time?

​​​​​​​Yes, deletion of an enrolled account can be done in real-time. One-Time PIN is required for this transaction.

Can I generate a unique BPI QR code for each of my accounts?

Yes, you can generate a QR code for each account that you own.

Which local banks can I transfer to using my BPI QR code?

You may make InstaPay transfers via QR code to the following local banks:

Can I share my current BPI QR code to receive InstaPay transfers?

Yes. You may still share your current QR code that shows the BPI Escudo in the middle. Please take note that the newly-generated QR code will now show the QR PH logo in the middle.

Can I change my BPI QR code’s nickname?

Yes. You may generate a new QR code and nominate a new nickname for it.

Will my account number be visible during the transaction once my BPI QR code is scanned?

No. Only the last 4-digits of your account number will be displayed during the transaction and the rest of your account number will be masked.

Can I link my BPI account to both my registered mobile number and email address at the same time to receive InstaPay transfers?

Yes. You may link your BPI account to both your registered mobile number and email address.

What is the maximum number of characters allowed when nominating a nickname for your linked mobile number or email address?

A maximum of 20 characters is allowed in nominating a nickname.

Which local banks can I transfer to using a linked mobile number or email address?

You may transfer funds using a mobile number or email address to our initial partner banks, Unionbank and Chinabank.

Can I import the recipient’s mobile number from my phone’s contact list when transferring via InstaPay on the app?

Yes. You may choose to import a mobile number from your contacts list or manually input it on the transaction page.

When I update my mobile number or email address, will it automatically be linked to my account to receive InstaPay transfers?

No. After successfully updating your mobile number or email address, your device will prompt you to delete your old mobile number or email address to link the updated one.

What is the Recent and Favorites features?

Recent - BPI Online lists your last 3 transactions for easy recall.
Favorites - You can save up to 10 favorite unenrolled accounts, prepaid cards, or phones.

Is there a cut-off time for Dollar to Peso funds transfer transactions?

Yes. This service is only available from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM Philippine Standard Time.
