Mr. Jocson started his career as a Systems Analyst with IBM Manila in 1982, but his skills eventually led him to discover the world. After being promoted to Manager of Quality in 1995, he was assigned to Singapore, where he led IBM's Applications/Systems Integration business in multiple Asian countries. He then spent the next four years as Managing Director for IBM Philippines.
The year 2000 found him as Vice President and GM of IBM Global Services, covering ASEAN and South Asia. In 2005, his focus moved to IBM Global Services for Industrial Sector for Asia Pacific. Two years later, he became Vice President and GM of Application Services for the Growth Market Unit. He then led the Applications Management and Integration Services not just in Asia, but also in Central and Eastern Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa.
After his assignment as VP & GM of Integrated Technology Services for Asia Pacific in 2010, he spent 2013-2015 in Prague, serving in the same capacity but for Central and Eastern Europe. With his leadership, he nurtured IBM's services portfolio in various Eastern European territories, including Russia, Turkey, Poland, the Baltics, Central, and Southeast Europe. Until he joined BPI in 2015, he was in Singapore, as IBM's Asia Pacific VP & GM for Strategic Outsourcing.
