BPI Invest Global Equity Fund-of-Funds maintains its winning streak in the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Society of the Philippines’ 2020 Best Managed Funds Awards under the dollar equity category. The fund has been a recipient of this award for four consecutive years, dominating the category in four out of five editions of the search.

With growing investment options available to the public, the search aims to help retail investors make better investment decisions by introducing them to risk-adjusted fund performance. It also aims to advance the investment discipline of fund managers through the recognition of their prudence, ethics, and investment excellence.

This year, a total of 63 funds from 13 investment houses and trust institutions participated in the search. The title, Best Managed Fund, is awarded based on recent performance and consistency over time, particularly the fund’s three-year and five-year track record. Institutions compliant with the CFA Institute Asset Manager Code are given additional points for upholding the highest standards of ethics and professionalism in fund management. Winners were recognized through a virtual awarding ceremony last September 15.

“Amidst all the uncertainties and volatilities of today’s market, our fund managers are committed to carefully balance value creation hand in hand with risk mitigation for our clients. We always keep in mind that our clients’ best interests come first,” said Sheila Marie Tan, President of BPI Asset Management and Trust Corporation (BPI AMTC).
