Advisory: BPI Systems Maintenance on May 9, 2026 (12:00 AM to 10:00 AM)

We will undergo a system maintenance activity on May 9, 2026 (Saturday), from 12:00 AM to 10:00 AM*.
 
Please take note of the services that will be temporarily unavailable and those that will remain available during this period:

Temporarily Unavailable Services:

• Transactions using BPI debit cards
• BPI ATMs (using BPI and non-BPI cards)
• Cash Accept Machines (CAMs)
• Cash advance transactions via BPI ATMs using BPI credit cards

Available Services

• BPI app and BPI online
• BPI Credit Cards for in-store and online purchases, and cash advance via other banks' ATMs
• BPI app and VYBE for bills payment, loading of prepaid phones and e-wallets, payment to merchants via QR PH, fund transfers (including interbank fund transfers via InstaPay and PESONet)
• BPI app and VYBE cardless withdrawal at BPI VYBE ATMs and select Euronet ATMs 

*BPI Debit Cirrus (Red and Gold), BPI Credit Cards for cash advances via BPI ATMs, BPI ATMs for other banks’ cards, and BPI Cash Accept Machines (CAMs) will be unavailable starting at 4 AM on May 9.

• On Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 12:00 AM to 10:00 AM: Clients with BPI Debit Mastercard. 
• On Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 4:00 AM to 10:00 AM: Clients with BPI Debit Cards, and those who plan to use BPI ATMs and Cash Accept Machines, and BPI Credit Cards for cash advance using BPI ATMs
  

We encourage you to plan ahead and schedule your branch visits and transactions before the systems maintenance activity. For your branch visit, you may check our branch schedule on our website

• Transactions via BPI ATMs, Cash Accept Machines (CAMs), point-of-sale (POS) machines (including contactless payments), and other banks’ ATMs and POS machines
• E-Commerce transactions including Pay with Google Pay
• Card Control services via the BPI app or BPI online (adjusting withdrawal or purchase limits, enabling or disabling international access, enabling and disabling e-commerce access and e-commerce sub-limit, and temporary or permanent card blocking)
• Online debit card request via the BPI app or BPI online
• Online banking password reset using debit card
• Activation of mobile number update via the BPI app

All transactions using BPI Debit - Cirrus (Red and Gold) cards will be unavailable starting 4:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

Yes, BPI credit card services will be available. However, cash advance via BPI ATMs will be unavailable on May 9, 2026, from 4:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

We encourage you to pay your bills ahead of the system maintenance activity to avoid possible penalties and charges. 

Alternatively, you may also use your BPI credit cards, the BPI app, BPI online, and VYBE to pay your bills. 

No. Your payments enrolled in BPI ADA will still proceed as scheduled even if they fall on May 9, 2026. Please make sure that your accounts are sufficiently funded. 

No, you will not be able to withdraw using BPI debit cards from BPI and non-BPI ATMs during the maintenance activity. Kindly plan ahead and make your cash withdrawals at any time before 12:00 AM or after 10:00 AM on May 9, 2026 (Saturday).

Yes, you may use your non-BPI card to transact at BPI ATMs before the scheduled activity. However, this service will be unavailable on May 9, 2026 from 4:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Please note that your bank issuer may charge additional fees on top of BPI fees to process your transaction.

CASH options on May 9, 2026, 12:00 AM to 10:00 AM:

• If you have a BPI credit card, you can do cash advance in BPI ATMs* and via other banks’ ATMs. You will need your credit card PIN (CCPIN) to activate the Cash Advance feature. This will be subject to cash advance fee and other service fees.
• BPI app and VYBE cardless withdrawal at BPI VYBE ATMs and select Euronet ATMs (list can be found here: https://l.bpi.com.ph/euronetdirectory)
  
  

PAYMENT options on May 9, 2026, 12:00 AM to 10:00 AM:

• You may use your BPI credit card for in-store and online purchases
• BPI app and BPI online to pay bills, load prepaid phones, and e-wallets
• BPI app or VYBE to pay QR Ph merchants
   

*Starting 4:00 AM, cash advance transactions via BPI ATMs using BPI credit cards will be unavailable. 

We encourage you to plan ahead and schedule your transactions or withdraw cash prior to the maintenance activity.

Since the activity will start on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 12:00 AM, and expected to be finished by 10:00 AM of the same day, when there is no clearing of checks, your post-dated checks will not be affected. However, please ensure that your checking accounts are sufficiently funded

Your transaction history will be updated right after the completion of the systems maintenance activity.
