The Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) has been recognized as one of the recipients of the 2025 Migration Advocacy and Media (MAM) Awards, underscoring the Bank’s growing influence as a champion of overseas Filipinos’ financial wellness and long-term prosperity.

BPI’s “Mas Magandang Bukas, Saan Ka Man sa Mundo” award-winning campaign celebrates the strength and aspirations of overseas Filipinos worldwide.

BPI won in the Advertisement Award category for its campaign “Mas Magandang Bukas, Saan Man Sa Mundo,” which underscores the Bank’s commitment to supporting global Filipinos and recognizing that every remittance carries with it a family’s hopes, sacrifices, and aspirations for a better future.

(L-R) BPI’s Angeline Pasco, Brand and Customer Experience Head - OF Segment, and Janice Ty, OF Segment Head, accept the award for the bank at the recent 2025 Migration Advocacy and Media Awards.

Anchored on the insight that behind each padala is a dream, the campaign highlights BPI’s responsibility to make financial progress easier, safer, and more accessible through services such as easy account opening, secure digital banking, and zero remittance fee options.

The recognition was formally conferred on December 11, 2025 during the MAM Awards Ceremony spearheaded by the Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) at the Quest Plus Conference Center in Alabang, as part of the Month of Overseas Filipinos (MOF) celebration.

Championing financial wellness for Filipinos worldwide

The recognition affirms BPI’s position as a leading advocate for financial literacy, protection, and freedom among OFWs and their families. Beyond banking products, BPI continues to intensify its support through programs that help overseas Filipinos build savings, manage risks, grow investments, and secure long-term wealth.

“As OFW heroes continue to power the nation from abroad, BPI remains committed to powering their dreams—wherever they may be,” said Maria Cristina “Ginbee” Go, BPI Consumer Banking Head.

BPI also acknowledged Harrison Communication and Michael V., who is also a son of an OFW, for helping in the campaign that resonated well with Overseas Filipino Families.

Now on its 9th year, the MAM Awards honors outstanding media works and advocates that shape migration narratives, elevate public understanding, and highlight the colorful, inspiring, and often challenging journeys of Filipinos in more than 200 countries.

This year’s panel of judges—composed of representatives from CFO, Philippine Migrants Rights Watch, Philippine Migration Research Network, Presidential Communications Office, Film Development Council of the Philippines—evaluated 95 entries from 17 countries.

With this win, BPI reinforces its mission to be the bank of choice for every Filipino, here and abroad, offering services built on security, accessibility, and innovation. As BPI continues to uplift families and strengthen financial resilience, the Bank moves closer to its vision of helping create a financially independent and future-ready global Filipino community.
