Through its partnership with Green GSM, BPI enables seamless and sustainable mobility by allowing BPI online users to pay directly for their EV taxi rides by simply using their BPI accounts.
To get started, users simply need to link their BPI account to the Green GSM app and select BPI as their preferred payment method. Once linked, they can conveniently book rides and pay cashless. For their security, users must only link their BPI account to the official Green GSM app and never share their login credentials or OTP with anyone.

“At BPI, sustainability is truly integrated into the way we do business. That is why we appreciate this partnership with Green GSM. By enabling direct payments through linked accounts, BPI is making sustainable mobility more accessible and convenient for our clients. Every time a client chooses to ride with Green GSM, they are making a simple yet meaningful choice that contributes to a more sustainable future. This partnership embodies our Sustainability Awareness Month theme, ‘Sustainable Progress for All,’ by providing the commuting public with an option that is safe, cost-efficient, and sustainable,” said Eric Luchangco, Chief Finance Officer and Chief Sustainability Officer at BPI.
BPI continues to strengthen its digital ecosystem through open banking via application programming interface (API) capabilities, allowing its more than 9 million BPI online and mobile app users to access secure, convenient, and innovative financial services integrated into their everyday digital experiences. Through secure digital integrations with trusted partners such as Green GSM, clients can conveniently connect their BPI accounts for safe and seamless cashless payments.
“This partnership is a definitive reflection of our shared commitment to a cleaner, greener, and more efficient tomorrow. We are bridging the gap between energy, transport, and finance through seamless integration. Safe. Sustainable. Forward-looking. This is not just a partnership; it is the BPI way of defining the future. Together with Green GSM, we are powering a smarter, more connected world,” said Alex Seminiano, Chief Technology Officer at BPI.
As part of its continued commitment to sustainable mobility, BPI and Green GSM are rewarding clients who pay for their rides using their linked BPI account. From June 1 to July 31, 2026, clients will receive 20 GSM Green Points for every successful ride paid through their linked BPI account. These Green Points may be redeemed as discounts on future rides, making every trip more rewarding while supporting more sustainable transportation choices.
For Green GSM’s Managing Director, Francis Lacuna, the partnership with BPI is meaningful because sustainable mobility requires more than technology and innovation—it requires strong institutions and partners who are willing to help turn ambition into action
