The Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) reinforces its commitment to financial empowerment and meaningful life experiences as it becomes the official bank partner of the Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA) 33rd Travel Tour Expo 2026.
Taking place from February 6 to 8, 2026 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, the PTAA Travel Tour Expo continues to stand as an anticipated travel event, drawing hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of travelers each year.
Through the partnership, BPI underscores its support for Filipinos who view travel not merely as recreation, but as a meaningful avenue for learning, strengthening family connections, and contributing to the growth of tourism and local economies nationwide and beyond.
“At BPI, we recognize that travel plays an important role in personal growth and shared experiences,” said Alma Aldip, Head of Unsecured Lending and Cards, BPI. “By providing accessible, practical, and secure financial solutions, we help Filipinos explore new places, deepen relationships, and participate more actively in the global and local economy.”
BPI and Robinsons Bank cardholders get exclusive early access on February 6 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM, as well as free entrance for the rest of the expo, by presenting their credit or debit card at the registration booth.
To ensure a convenient experience, cardholders can access all BPI offers by scanning QR codes available at the registration area and throughout the venue.
Recognizing that travel is an investment in experiences and memories, BPI offers flexible payment options of up to 24 months through FlexipayZero or FlexipayLow at 100 participating exhibitors, with an option for FlexipayLater after three months. This allows travelers to manage their budgets responsibly while still pursuing meaningful journeys. Purchases from exhibitors without installment facilities may also be converted through Balance Conversion, available by visiting the BPI booth.
BPI Platinum Rewards Cardholders can receive added convenience with 0% installment for up to six months on airline tickets purchased directly from airline companies. Cardholders will be notified via SMS real-time to convert this online via the BPI App, or they can request for it at the BPI Booth at the event. Cardholders may also receive up to ₱10,000 worth of electronic gift certificates (eGCs) when they meet spend requirements or unlock bonus rounds, along with exclusive freebies for purchases worth ₱5,000, ₱50,000, and ₱100,000, which can be claimed at the BPI booth.
From February to April 30, BPI Rewards and BPI Gold Rewards Cardholders earn 3× rewards points on travel-related spending, whether for domestic trips that support local tourism or international travel that expands global exposure.
Visitors who are not yet cardholders are also invited to take part. Those who apply for a BPI Credit Card during the expo from February 6 to 8 can enjoy No Annual Fee for Life with a spend requirement, reflecting BPI’s ongoing efforts to widen access to financial tools that support everyday aspirations.
BPI continues to support travelers even after the event. Platinum Rewards Cardholders receive a complimentary airport lounge priority pass for every single transaction of at least ₱30,000 at select airlines, hotels, or travel agencies, offering moments of comfort before long journeys. Signature Cardholders enjoy complimentary unlimited PAGSS and Marhaba lounge access at NAIA Terminals 1 and 3 for international flights.
To help travelers maximize their spending abroad, BPI offers some of the lowest foreign exchange rates in the market. Until February 19, 2026, Signature and Platinum Rewards Cardholders enjoy 0% forex fees at select merchants with a minimum ₱250 spend, as well as reduced fees for higher accumulated spending—ensuring better value for every peso.
Qualified BPI Credit Cards also come with complimentary travel insurance when airline tickets are purchased using the card, providing peace of mind for families and individuals alike. Cardholders can further earn miles faster with Platinum Rewards earning one mile for as low as ₱50 spend, locally and overseas, while Signature Cardholders earn one mile for every ₱50 spend.
Through its partnership with PTAA, BPI highlights how financial inclusion enables more Filipinos to experience the value of travel—learning from new cultures, strengthening family connections, and supporting tourism industries that drive economic progress.
As the official bank partner of the PTAA 33rd Travel Tour Expo 2026, BPI invites the public to visit the BPI booth and discover how thoughtful financial solutions can make travel more accessible, meaningful, and rewarding. With BPI, travel becomes more than a destination—it becomes a way to grow and connect.
