Yes. If your device is not Mobile Key-enabled, you may continue using the OTP option to verify your login to BPI Online via a web browser.
Effective July 24, 2025, the SMS One-Time PIN (OTP) option for verifying logins to BPI online via web browsers will no longer be available for clients with Mobile Key-enabled devices.
To continue logging in to online.bpi.com.ph, clients with Mobile Key can verify their login using the BPI app through either of the following methods:
- Approve a Mobile Key login notification
- Scan a QR code using the BPI app’s QR scanner
Can I still log in using a One-Time PIN if I don’t have a Mobile Key-enabled device?
Can I still use OTP after activating Mobile Key?
No. Once Mobile Key is activated on your BPI app, the OTP option will no longer be available for web browser logins. You will need to verify your login by either approving a Mobile Key notification or scanning a QR code.
What if my Mobile Key gets deactivated—can I still log in via web browser?
No. You must reactivate Mobile Key to log in to online.bpi.com.ph using a web browser.
How do I reactivate Mobile Key?
1. Log in to the BPI app.
2. Tap More, scroll down to Settings, then tap Security.
3. Tap the toggle next to Mobile Key, then tap Activate.
4. Enter your preferred 6-digit PIN.
5. Enter the One-Time PIN (OTP) to confirm activation.
