Filipino, 54 years old, Mr. Luchangco is the Chief Finance Officer, Chief Sustainability Officer, and Head of Strategy and Finance. In this role, he oversees the Bank’s strategic planning and budgeting, capital structure, and sustainability agenda. Before taking on his current role, Mr. Luchangco was Head of Business Banking from June 2019 to May 2022, where he managed BPI’s presence within the space.
Mr. Luchangco initially joined the BPI Group in 2013 as Head of Debt Capital Markets of BPI Capital, the Bank’s investment banking unit. His responsibilities were later expanded to concurrently become Head of
Execution and Treasurer of BPI Capital. In June 2017, he moved into BPI to become the Head of Corporate Credit Products. Prior to joining the BPI Group, Mr. Luchangco worked at Daiwa Capital Markets, spending time in their Manila, Hong Kong, and Singapore offices, originating and executing a wide variety of investment banking transactions.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management Economics from the Ateneo de Manila University and a Master’s Degree from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
