Now on its second year and organized in partnership with race organizer Runrio, the country’s first and only corporate race saw 8,000 registrants from nearly 300 companies and running clubs, underscoring BPI’s commitment to employee well-being, community upliftment, and environmental responsibility.

“The #BestLifeRun is more than a race—it’s a shared journey toward a healthier, more empowered, and inclusive future for Filipino employees and communities,” said Gina Eala, BPI Chief Human Resources Officer.

Held annually as part of BPI’s Sustainability Awareness Month, the #BestLifeRun supports the Bank’s long-term commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being. The event aims to bring together companies and professionals in a united movement for fitness, sustainability, and social good.

“We are proud to see this initiative grow from an internal employee wellness activity into a full-scale corporate platform that champions holistic well-being, sustainability, and work-life balance,” Eala added.

Rain or shine: Runners showed up and gave their best in the BPI #BestLifeRun Corporate Race.

The BPI #BestLifeRun Corporate Race aligns with the Bank’s sustainability goals, particularly on the social front, by uplifting the lives of underserved Filipinos through innovative financial solutions, while promoting health and wellness in the workplace. Net proceeds from the race will support communities in Leyte and Iloilo through livelihood and development programs implemented by BPI Foundation.

The event welcomed corporate teams composed of at least four employees from SEC-registered companies. All registered runners received loot bags and bib numbers with timing chips, while finishers in all race categories (3KM, 5KM, 10KM, and 21KM) were awarded commemorative shirts and medals.

21KM category winners recognized during the awarding ceremony for their outstanding endurance and determination.
