Investing in the BPI SINAG (Supporting Inclusion, Nature, and Growth) Bonds is one way you can do this.
Here are five things you should know about the BPI SINAG Bonds.
1. Minimum investment amount
You can avail of the bonds for a minimum of PHP 500,000 and increase your investment for every PHP 100,000.
2. Quarterly payouts
Interest payments would be paid out every three months starting from the BPI SINAG Bonds’ issuance date on June 10, 2025 until its maturity on December 10, 2026.
The bonds have an indicative interest rate of 5.8458% to 5.8958% per annum, which is still subject to change. The quarterly payouts are also subject to a 20-25% final withholding tax or other rates that laws or regulations may require.
3. Who can invest
You have to be at least 18 years old to invest through a BPI Wealth Portfolio Management Account (PMA).
4. Availability
The BPI SINAG Bonds will be offered to the public from May 20,2025 to May 30, 2025 only.
PHP 5 billion worth of bonds will initially be issued. This may increase upon the Bank’s discretion.
