What will happen to my Robinsons Bank account?

Once your Robinsons Bank branch of account is integrated with BPI, your Robinsons Bank account will also be updated to a BPI account with the following changes:

1) Your Robinsons Bank account number will be discontinued, and you will be provided with a new BPI account number.

2) Your Robinsons Bank account type / product will be converted to an equivalent BPI account type/ product.

While awaiting integration of your Robinsons Bank account with BPI, you may continue to use your Robinsons Bank account for your usual transactions at any Robinsons Bank branch or facilities.

What will happen to the maintaining balance and balance required to earn interest for Robinsons Bank accounts?

What will happen to the interest rates of Robinsons Bank Accounts?

The interest rate of your Robinsons Bank account was aligned with BPI interest rates as published last March 2024. These rates will remain the same upon integration of your Robinsons Bank account with BPI. Thereafter, future changes in interest rates that will be published by BPI and which will depend on factors such as market, policy and competitive rates, cost of funds, and cost to serve, will apply.

Will the transaction and auxiliary fees change, including the product terms and conditions?

Once integration of your Robinsons Bank account takes effect and is updated to a BPI account, all prevailing and governing BPI terms and conditions of the corresponding BPI product / account type shall now apply to your account.

What’s the impact on my PDIC insurance coverage?

The PDIC maximum coverage is per institution. Once the integration of your Robinsons Bank account to BPI is complete, the maximum total coverage for all your accounts in BPI will be P1 Million.

My Robinsons Bank product account type like Simple Savings, is not included in table above. What will happen to my account?

A separate notification has been sent to your registered contact information in Robinsons Bank. You may also check the Robinsons Bank website for related announcements on account types that have already been permanently discontinued.

I have a Robinsons Bank Iponsurance Account, will the benefits and age coverage change? Do I need to secure a new insurance certificate?

If you are 58 years old and below as of December 2024, your Iponsurance account will be converted to BPI Pamana ATM savings account with FREE insurance coverage up to 3x your last 3 month’s average daily balance, not to exceed 2M pesos, under BPI AIA.

Once your account is converted to BPI Pamana ATM Savings account, you will not be required to visit the branch for any re-submission or re-documentation. As an existing BPI Pamana accountholder, your free insurance coverage shall immediately take effect and it is optional should you wish to secure a BPI Pamana insurance certificate in the branch.

For 59 years old and above, your Robinsons Bank Iponsurance account will be converted updated to a BPI Regular ATM Savings.
