Terms and Conditions

Get rewards worth up to PHP 350,000.000 when you start a Gold Relationship with BPI through the ESCAPE WITH BPI GOLD PROMO (the “Promo”).

 

General Policies

1. These Terms and Conditions govern the Promo for New-to-Bank (“NTB”) clients (as hereinafter defined) who start a Gold Relationship with BPI, subject to the eligibility requirements further prescribed hereunder.

2. The Terms and Conditions governing BPI’s Products, Services, Facilities and Channels as well as the BPI Mobile App, the BPI Gold Banking Terms and Conditions, the BPI Online Banking Terms and Conditions, and the BPI Data Privacy Policy are hereby incorporated by reference and shall form an integral part hereof. 

 

Promo Period

3. The Promo shall run from July 25, 2025 to September 30, 2025 (“Promo Period”).

 

Eligibility and Participation

4. The Promo shall be open to NTB clients who perform all the following activities during the Promo Period (the “Eligible Clients”):

Start a BPI Gold Relationship

  • The client must be NTB and must be the primary account holder of the different accounts opened with the BPI Group of Companies;
  • The client must have a Total Relationship Balance (TRB) of at least PHILIPPINE PESOS: FIVE MILLION (PHP5,000,000.00) in fresh funds (as defined below);
  • 50% of the client’s TRB must consist of deposits into at least one (1) Build-Up Account, as specified below;
  • The minimum required TRB must be maintained for eight (8) consecutive months from account opening, with the TRB to be determined across applicable deposit and/or investment accounts.

Open a Build-Up Account

A Build-Up Account may be any of the following BPI Products:

i.Maxi-Saver

ii.Pamana Savings

iii.Saver Plus

 

Open an Investment Account

The NTB client must open an Investment Account in either a Unit Investment Trust Fund or Mutual Fund.

Avail of a Debit Card or

Apply for a BPI Visa Signature Credit Card   

 

 

For the purpose of this Promo:

Term

Definition

New-to-Bank (“NTB”)

A client shall be considered NTB if he/she has no existing active primary deposit or investment account/s from any of the relevant members of the BPI Group of Companies within the last twelve (12) months reckoned from the date of opening of account/s.

BPI Group of Companies

The term shall include the Bank of the Philippine Islands, BPI Direct BanKo Inc., BPI Investment Management Inc., BPI Capital Corporation, BPI Securities Corporation, and BPI Asset Management & Trust Corp. (“BPI Wealth”).

Total Relationship Balance (“TRB”)

i. Is based on the overall volume in deposits and/or investments with BPI Group of Companies;

ii. For BPI Gold clients, a TRB of at least Php5,000,000.00 (or its foreign currency equivalent) shall be required. TRB includes the client’s total funds in Deposits (Current and Savings accounts monthly average daily balance, and Time Deposits value) and Investments held in BPI Group of Companies.

 

Fresh Funds

The term shall mean any money that does not come from the withdrawal or termination of any BPI deposit accounts, or from the termination of investments with any member of the BPI Group of Companies.

5. To participate in the Promo, Eligible Clients must fill out and sign the Escape with BPI Gold Promo Form and commit to a reward tier through their Relationship Manager (“RM”).

6. BPI reserves the right to suspend or disqualify any person from further participation in the Promo, if in its judgement, that person has violated the terms and conditions herein. Suspension or disqualification may result in the cancellation of the individual’s right of participation and/or the economic equivalent of all rewards enjoyed. 

7. Only the fresh funds deposited during account opening will be considered in determining the reward. Subsequent deposits, on top of this shall not be included in the calculation for determining the reward.

 

Rewards

8. Eligible Clients shall be rewarded with flight credits from Dominican Travel and Tours, Inc. (the “Promo Partner”), which they can use to book flights to any destination and via any carrier of their choice. The flight credits will be based on the minimum TRB maintained by the NTB client in accordance with their selected Reward Tier among the following:

BPI will shoulder the cost up to the amount above-stated, anything in excess will be for the Eligible Client’s account. Credits may also be used for flight upgrades like seat selection, meals, extra baggage, etc., as long as they fall within the reward amount. Credits, however, may not be used for visa processing fees, travel tax, and tour packages. 

To qualify for the reward, Eligible Clients must maintain the minimum TRB corresponding to their selected tier across all applicable deposit and/or investment accounts for eight (8) consecutive months from the date of account opening (“Maintaining Period”). Failure to maintain the required TRB at any point during the Maintaining Period will result in disqualification from receiving any rewards under the Promo.

9. On the 10th month from account opening, Eligible Clients who have qualified for the rewards shall be notified thereof and shall receive detailed instructions from their Relationship Managers on how to redeem the rewards, including the applicable redemption period. Eligible Clients will also receive an SMS and e-mail notification from the official BPI line.

Eligible Clients can redeem their rewards within three (3) months after Reward Disbursement Date, as illustrated below. Failure to redeem the reward within the redemption period will result in the forfeiture of the rewards, without further notice or obligation on the part of the Bank.

10. To redeem the reward, Eligible Clients must perform the following:

a. Book a flight or schedule an appointment with the Promo Partner through the following channels:

b. Eligible Clients must present the following documents when booking the flight with the Promo Partner: 

i. Valid Government-issued ID

ii. SMS/Email Winner Notification sent by official BPI line

iii. Signed Winner Form

11. All rewards will be non-refundable, or no refunds will be issued after ticket booking/issuance. 

12. All rewards are transferrable upon awarding but tickets cannot be transferred to other individuals once booked/issued.

13. All rewards are re-bookable, but any fees incurred to re-book flights will not be covered by BPI

14. BPI will not be responsible in case the Eligible Client is not granted a Visa required to enter the chosen travel destination. 

 

Dispute Resolution

15. All disputes related to this Promo will only be accepted within sixty (60) banking days after July 30, 2026. 

16. In case of any dispute with respect to the Promo Terms and Conditions including Promo eligibility, fulfillment, etc., the decision of BPI with the concurrence of DTI shall be considered final. 

17. All flight tickets redeemed as rewards will be booked through the Promo Partner. Any issue/concern pertaining to the use of the flight tickets shall be raised to and addressed/settled by the Promo Partner. The Eligible Client shall have sole recourse against the Promo Partner in case of  any issue regarding the flight tickets and shall have no recourse against BPI, its directors, officers, employees, and representatives. 

 

Other Conditions

18. All new account openings are subject to existing policies and procedures of BPI.   

19. All offers under the Promo shall not be convertible to cash, non-transferrable, and may only be availed of by the Eligible Client.  

20. This Promo cannot be used in conjunction with any other on-going BPI promotions or discounts.    

21. To the full extent allowed by applicable laws, all warranties, whether express or implied by law or statute, are excluded herein. BPI does not make any warranty, express or implied, with respect to any of the rewards items.

22. BPI and its subsidiaries as well as its directors, officers and employees are not liable for and shall be held free and harmless from any loss or damage (including direct, indirect and consequential loss) suffered or sustained by the Eligible Clients from their participation in the Promo and receipt of the reward.

23. BPI, in concurrence with DTI, reserves the right to terminate, discontinue, or cancel the Promo at any time. 

24. The Promo shall be subject to periodic review to ensure compliance with BPI’s policies and procedures, as well as with applicable laws and BSP rules and regulations. 

25. By participating in this Promo, the Eligible Client hereby agrees that BPI is authorized to provide his/her information to its third-party contractor or agent to complete the processing of the rewards.

26. Employees of the BPI Group of Companies, merchants and advertising, and creative agencies who have partnered with any member of the BPI Group of Companies in relation to this Promo, including their relatives of up to second degree of consanguinity and affinity, are disqualified from joining the Promo.
