BPI Gold Member-Get-Member Promo

These Terms and Conditions (“Promo Terms and Conditions”) govern the BPI MEMBER-GET-MEMBER PROMO.  

General Policies

The Terms and Conditions governing BPI’s Products, Services, Facilities and Channels, the Banking Terms and Conditions, BPI Online Banking Terms and Conditions governing the use of BPI Online and the BPI Mobile App, and the BPI Data Privacy Statement are hereby incorporated by reference and shall form an integral part hereof (“BPI Terms and Conditions”).  

The BPI Gold Member-Get-Member Promo

All existing Primary BPI Gold clients (“Referrer”) may refer New-to-Bank client/s (“Referral”) to the NEXT by BPI Preferred, BPI Preferred, and BPI Gold and get rewards as specified herein.

Promo Period

1. The Promo shall run from August 26, 2025 to October 31, 2025 (“Promo Period”).

Eligibility and Participation

2. A reward will be given to Referrers for any of the successful referrals:

a.  SUCCESSFUL GOLD REFERRAL – New-to-Bank (NTB) client who performs ALL of the following conditions:

i. Opens a Deposit and/or Investment account (whether in Philippine peso or foreign currency) with a minimum combined value of Five Millon Pesos (Php 5,000,000.00)  in Fresh Funds;

i. Maintains the minimum Gold Total Relationship Balance (“TRB”) requirement of Five Million Pesos (Php 5,000,000.00) after ninety (90) calendar days from account opening; and

ii. Enrolls their account in the VYBE app prior to submission of the referral form.

b.  SUCCESSFUL PREFERRED REFERRAL – New-to-Bank (NTB) client who performs ALL of the following conditions:

i. Opens a Deposit and/or Investment account (whether in Philippine peso or foreign currency) with a minimum combined value of One Million pesos (Php 1,000,000.00) in Fresh Funds;

ii. Maintains the minimum Preferred TRB requirement of One Million Pesos (Php 1,000,000.00) after ninety (90) calendar days from account opening; and

iii. Enrolls their account in the VYBE app prior to submission of the referral form.

c.  SUCCESSFUL NEXT BY BPI PREFERRED REFERRAL - New-to-Bank (NTB) client who perform ALL of the following conditions: 

i. Opens a Deposit and/or Investment account (whether in Philippine peso or foreign currency) with a minimum combined value of One Hundred Thousand Pesos (Php 100,000.00) in Fresh Funds;

ii. Maintains the minimum NEXT by BPI Preferred TRB requirement of One Hundred Thousand Pesos (Php 100,000.00) after ninety (90) calendar days from account opening; and

iii. Enrolls their account in the VYBE app prior to submission of the referral form.

3. For the purpose of this promo:

New-to-Bank or NTB - refers to clients with no existing relationship with and no product availment from any relevant members of the BPI Group of Companies within the last twelve (12) months reckoned from the date of opening of account/s.

Total Relationship Balance or TRB - In determining the TRB for this Promo, the following products, if availed within the Promo Period (as applicable to the relevant client type), are included: (i) all BPI deposit accounts, and (ii) all funds maintained with BPI Asset Management and Trust Corp., BPI Investment Management, Inc., capital products (primary and secondary offers) availed through BPI Capital Corporation and BPI Securities Corp., and hedge funds.

BPI Group of Companies – means Bank of the Philippine Islands, BPI Direct BanKo Inc., BPI Investment Management Inc., BPI Capital Corporation, BPI Securities Corporation, and BPI Asset Management & Trust Corp. (BPI Wealth).

Fresh Funds – means any money that is not proceeds from a withdrawal or termination of any BPI deposit accounts or proceeds from termination of investments with any member of the BPI Group of Companies.

Average Daily Balance (ADB) - the sum of the daily end-of-day balances in the account for a month divided by the number of days in that month. The formula for computing ADB is as follows:

  (Day 1 ending balance + Day 2 ending balance + Day 30/31 ending balance)/Number of days in the month (i.e. 30/31 days)

4. The Referral’s opening of the NEXT by BPI Preferred, BPI Preferred and BPI Gold Accounts shall be subject to BPI’s applicable account opening parameters, standards, and requirements, including but not limited to, know-your-customer requirements..

5. The Referrer must submit their completed Referral Form/s through their designated Relationship Manager.

6. The Referrer must be an existing BPI Gold client at the time of the referral form submission.

7. There is no limit to the number of Referrals a Referrer can make under the Promo.

8. Failure to submit the Referral Form to the designated Relationship Manager within thirty (30) days from opening of the Referral’s account will result in ineligibility from Promo participation.

9. BPI reserves the right to terminate the eligibility of the Referrer if at any time during the Promo Period, the Referrer’s Average Daily Balance1 falls below the requirement of being a BPI Gold client or for any violation of these Promo Terms and Conditions and the BPI Terms and Conditions.

10. Employees of BPI Group of Companies and their relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity and affinity are disqualified from participating in this Promo.

Rewards

11. Rewards for successful referrals will be in the form of Robinsons Gift Certificate.

The Robinsons Gift Certificates are accepted in branches where the following brands are present : The Marketplace, Robinsons Supermarket, Robinsons Easymart, Shopwise, Robinsons Department Store, Robinsons Appliances, Savers Appliances, Handyman Do It Best, True Value, Toys “R” Us, South Star Drug, Daiso Japan, Super 50, Pet Lovers Center, No Brand, Shiseido (select stores only), Benefit (select stores only).   

14. Redemption of the Robinsons Gift Certificates at the brands mentioned above shall be subject to the acceptance and validation of the branch and terms and conditions of the Merchant.  BPI shall not be held liable for any issues arising from the Merchant’s fulfillment or non-fulfillment of the product and/or services pertaining to the gift certificate.

15. The reward is not convertible to cash, credit, other gift certificates, privileges, rewards and/or other items/products. It may not be exchanged with any other product or service. The reward is non-transferable and may only be availed by the Referrer. 

16. For purposes of determining the reward, only the Referral’s TRB requirement during account opening shall be considered. Any subsequent deposits after account opening which may qualify Referral to a higher tier, or subsequent withdrawals which may move Referral to a lower tier, will not be considered in the calculation of the reward.

17. If the Referrer has multiple Referrals, the Referrer will be rewarded per successful referral, regardless of the number of Referrals per tier. See table below for illustration:

Awarding Procedure

18. Upon confirmation of maintained fresh funds, qualified Referrers will be informed by their Relationship Managers via phone call through their registered mobile number and email through their registered e-mail address on the quantity of successful referrals and its equivalent amount in rewards. The Referrer has the sole responsibility of informing his/her Relationship Manager for any changes in his/her mobile number, e-mail address, and other contact details. 

19. The reward will be awarded to the Referrer after ninety (90) calendar days from the account opening date of their respective Referrals. If the reward disbursement date falls on a holiday or weekend, it will be awarded on the next available banking day.  See table below for illustration:

20. The reward of eligible Referrers can be claimed through their designated Relationship Managers. BPI shall not be responsible for any unclaimed rewards.

21. The rewards shall be subject to the general terms and conditions of Robinsons Retail Holdings, Inc.

Dispute Resolution

22. All disputes related to this Promo will only be entertained if submitted within sixty (60) business days after the end of the Promo Period. In case of dispute in respect of BPI only and the client's availment of the rewards under the Promo, the decision of BPI with the concurrence of DTI shall be considered final. However, if the dispute involves the partner merchant and its performance of the services and/or delivery of products to the client, the decision of partner merchant with the concurrence of DTI shall be considered final..   

Other Conditions

23. BPI and its subsidiaries as well as its directors, officers and employees are not liable and shall be held rendered free and harmless for any loss or damage (including direct, indirect and consequential loss) suffered or sustained by the Promo participants resulting from their receipt and use of the rewards.

24. The promotions offered under the Promo may not be availed of in conjunction with any other ongoing promotions or discounts of the Bank.

25. BPI, in concurrence with DTI, reserves the right to terminate, discontinue, or cancel the Promo at any time.

26. By participating in this Promo, the qualified Referrer/s and Referral/s agree to allow BPI to collect their personal information, including but not limited to their name, mobile number, and e-mail address. Additionally, BPI will secure active consent and permission from the qualified Referrer and Referral to use and disclose their personal information, including their name, photographs, and videos, for marketing purposes related to this promotion. The qualified Referrer/s and Referral/s agree to waive any claims to royalties, rights, or remuneration for such use on TV, radio, BPI website, BPI social media pages, and press releases.

27. The Promo shall be subject to periodic review to ensure compliance with the Bank’s policies and procedures, as well as with Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (“BSP”) rules and regulations and applicable laws.

28. To the full extent allowed by applicable laws, all warranties, whether express or implied by law or statute, are excluded herein. BPI does not make any warranty, express or implied, with respect to any of the rewards items.
