Mechanics

These terms and conditions govern the availment by Eligible BPI Clients of the discounts on LIT Digital Library subscriptions (the “Promo”).

I. General Policies

1. The Terms and Conditions governing BPI’s Products, Services, Facilities and Channels, the Banking Terms and Conditions, the BPI Online Banking Terms and Conditions governing the use of BPI Online and the BPI app, and the BPI Data Privacy Policy are hereby incorporated by reference and form an integral part hereof (the “BPI Terms and Conditions”). 

II. Eligibility and Participation

The Promo shall be open to Eligible Clients only.

“Eligible Clients” pertain to NEXT by BPI Preferred, BPI Preferred, and BPI Gold clients who:

  • have received the Promo communication from BPI via EDM or SMS; and
  • have not been suspended or disqualified by BPI from participating in the Promo.

To avail of the offer, Eligible Clients must enter the promo code sent to them via EDM or SMS on the LIT Digital Library website upon checkout.

Eligible Clients may use a BPI Debit or Credit Card, or other available payment methods, provided that the payment method used bears the same name as the client who received the EDM or SMS communication.

No minimum spend is required to avail of the discount.

Only one (1) promo code may be used per transaction, and only one applicable discount may be applied per order.

The Participating Merchant Store are

1. BPI reserves the right to suspend or disqualify any person from participation in the Promo if, in BPI’s judgment, the person is not eligible for the Promo or has violated any of the terms and conditions herein, including any of the BPI Terms and Conditions. Suspension or disqualification shall result in the cancellation of the person’s right of participation and/or the economic equivalent of all rewards enjoyed.

2. The Eligible Client shall review and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of the Promo and the Participating Merchant.

III. Other Terms and Conditions

1. The Promo Period is from November 25, 2025 to November 24, 2026. Or such other period agreed upon in writing by the parties.

2. The offer is not convertible to cash or credit. It may not be exchanged with any other product.

3. The cardholder agrees that should his or her purchase be found to be an act of fraud that he or she initiated, conspired or participated with another person or found to be fraudulent, the Bank shall have the right to charge the full amount of the transaction to his or her card inclusive of any discount availed or extended.

4. The Promo is not valid in conjunction with any ongoing promos of LIT Digital Library.

5. In the purchase of goods and services which are on promotional discount, in compliance with the Expanded Senior Citizen Act of 2010 (Republic Act (R.A.) No. 9994) and An Act Expanding Benefits and Privileges of Persons with Disability (PWD) (R.A. No. 10754), the senior citizen or PWD can avail of the promotional discount or the discount provided under the said laws, whichever is higher, if applicable.

6.All disputes related to this Promo will only be entertained if submitted within sixty (60) banking days after the end of the Promo Period.

a. Any dispute concerning LIT Digital Library and its performance and/or delivery of products and/or services related to the Promo offer shall be settled directly between the BPI Preferred Client and LIT Digital Library.

b. In case of dispute in respect of BPI only and the BPI Preferred Client’s availment of the Promo, the decision of BPI with the concurrence of the Department of Trade and Industry (“DTI”) shall be considered final.

7. BPI, in concurrence with DTI, reserves the right to terminate, discontinue, or cancel the Promo at any time.

8. To the full extent allowed by applicable laws, all warranties, whether expressed or implied by law or statute, are excluded herein. BPI does not make any warranty, express or implied, with respect to any product or service availed of under the Promo or any reward item.

9. BPI and its subsidiaries are not liable for any loss, damage, or personal injury whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect, and consequential loss) suffered or sustained in connection with the availment of and/or participation in the Promo, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct on the part of BPI.

10. The Promo shall be subject to periodic review to ensure compliance with BPI’s policies and procedures, as well as with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (“BSP”) rules and regulations and other applicable laws.
