Dear Valued Client,
In our letter dated October 20, 2025, we informed you of the change in target fund of BPI Catholic Values Global Equity Feeder Fund (the Fund), initiated by the target fund manager, Christian Brothers Investment Services (CBIS).
The new target fund, CBIS Catholic Responsible Investments (CRI) Global Equity Fund offers broader diversification by investing across a wider range of asset classes, sectors, and geographies while continuing to apply CRI screening, excluding sectors that conflict with faith-based principles. While this approach improved diversification, the new mandate includes up to 15% exposure to global small-cap equities, a segment generally associated with higher volatility and less predictable performance, especially during periods of market uncertainty. It also adopts a sub-managed fund structure where portions of the portfolio are managed by select asset managers. Specifically, the roster of sub-managers increased from two (2) to six (6) specialized and smaller-scale fund managers.
After a comprehensive target fund review and careful consideration, rather than keeping the Fund invested in the new target fund, we have determined that a more effective solution is to merge the Fund into the upcoming Philippine Peso Unit Class (Unit Class P) of the BPI Global Equity Fund-of-Funds. This decision reflects our commitment to providing a more stable and diversified global equity exposure for our investors. This merger is targeted for completion in the first quarter of 2026.
For your convenience, we have prepared a side-by-side comparison of the affected funds in Annex A.
