Following a recent evaluation of the PAMI Mutual Funds, we would like to inform you that effective April 15, 2026, the following funds will no longer be open for new or additional subscriptions:

1. Philam Bond Fund

What this means for you

  • Existing holdings will continue to be managed with the same level of diligence and expertise. Redemption requests, if any, shall follow the usual process without interruption.
  • For new or additional investments, we encourage exploring our recommended ALFM Mutual Funds, which offer comparable strategies to support your income, growth, diversification, and other investment goals.

Recommendation

For 2026, global markets are expected to remain volatile due to geopolitical tensions, pushing oil prices higher and raising global inflation expectations. Despite this backdrop, fixed income investments continue to offer steady income opportunities, with dollar bonds providing attractive yields and peso bonds benefiting from strong demand and above-average rates. Philippine equities also remain supported by domestic consumption which merits our long-term constructive view, though markets may stay sensitive to global developments. Given these conditions, a globally diversified portfolio—balancing fixed income stability and selective long-term equity growth—remains the most prudent approach.
