Cashback means money back. BPI is giving a portion of your spending back to you when you make an online purchase through the cashback partner merchants.

The cashback amount differs per merchant. Customers may get up to 15% cashback. The cashback rate is published in the cashback page, merchant page, and in the pop-up. 

All you need to do is select from our list of partner merchants like Lazada or Shopee in the cashback page, choose a merchant, enter your 8-digit cashback ID, click the “Proceed to Shop '' button and you’ll be directed to that merchant’s app/site. From there, you can continue with your normal online shopping journey and check out your purchases using your BPI Debit Mastercard.

Yes. To be eligible for a cashback you must use your 8-digit cashback ID and your BPI Debit Mastercard to pay at the partner merchants listed in the cashback page.

Cashback ID is your 8-digit unique ID sent to your registered mobile number / email with BPI that will serve as a customer reference in earning cashback. Your cashback ID only needs to be encoded once and it will be automatically populated in your next visit if you are using the same device.

Cashback will be credited directly to your main default account of your BPI Debit Mastercard. Cashback amount shall appear as “4347 Payment - Cashback” in cardholder’s statement of account.

Cashback is credited based on the merchant's turn-around-time (TAT) for crediting. You may view it in the terms and conditions of each merchant. Please note that for travel-related merchants, the TAT starts once the stay/ trip has been completed. As long as the user won't cancel or return the purchase once received, the cashback should reflect on your main default account within 60 to 90 days depending on the merchant.

No, there is no crediting fee. The amount that will be credited to your main default account is the actual cashback amount you’ve earned in the promo.

Visit the cashback history link located on the main page. The cashback history page will show all your transactions 3 to 7 days after your transaction. “Pending transactions” mean that the merchant has reported the transaction and will reconfirm the cashback amount after the allowed return period or the travel date. “Paid transactions” mean the amount has been credited to your BPI account. “Declined transactions” mean the merchants invalidated the transactions mainly due to the items being returned or reservations being cancelled.

Your cashback might not have been tracked due to the following reasons:

1. You may not have clicked and started your shopping journey from the cashback page.


2. You may not have used your BPI Debit Mastercard to pay for your purchase.


3. You may not have followed the merchant terms & conditions. Every partner store comes with its unique set of terms and conditions. If you fail to adhere to them when ordering, no rebate will be awarded. You can access each partner store's terms & conditions on the brand page or from the pop-up page.


4. Cashback takes up to 60 to 90 days to be processed and reflected in your account, depending on the merchant terms & conditions.


5. There was a cancellation, return or exchange of your purchases. Cashback is only awarded for successful purchases and will not be awarded for cancellations, returns or exchange.


6. For travel-related sites like Klook or Booking.com, your cashback will only be rewarded to you after you have completed your stay/trip.

Your rebate is calculated based on the following factors:

1. For certain merchants, the percentage and/or amount of rebate awarded is not fixed and is calculated based on different tiers (e.g. different categories of products and new/existing customers). Please refer to merchant terms & conditions.

2. You have made a second purchase which did not start from the cashback page. Please note that to earn the Cashback, your purchase must start from the cashback page. If you have checked-out and made another purchase, you need to go back to the  cashback page in order to still earn cashback on your second purchase.

No. The cashback earned in your BPI account does not have an expiration.

The cashback you’ve earned will automatically be added in your current account balance. The terms and conditions governing the issuance and use of the BPI Debit Mastercard and those governing the deposits, products, services, facilities and channels, as the same may be amended or supplemented, from time to time, are hereby incorporated by reference and shall form an integral part hereof.

Earning of cashback on discounted sites is dependent on the merchant. For most merchants, cashbacks are still extended even when there is a site-wide discount promo. You may check the terms & conditions of the merchant you want to shop from.

Marketplace sites like Lazada and Shopee have different rates for different categories. The percentage and/or amount of cashback awarded is not fixed and is calculated based on different tiers (e.g. different categories of products, and participating brands). Please check the individual merchant pages to view the categories and their respective cashbacks. Lazada and Shopee have the right to change the cashback rate at any time.
