Who can join the promo?

The promo is open to all Principal cardholders of the following BPI Visa Credit Cards which are active and in good credit standing, have available credit limit, have valid and updated mobile number and/or email address in BPI’s Credit Cards record:

a. Amore Cashback Card
b. Amore Platinum Cashback Card
c. Visa Signature Card

What cards are not qualified for the promo?

The following BPI Credit Cards are not qualified to join the promo:

a. Blue Mastercard
b. eCredit Mastercard
c. Edge Mastercard
d. Gold Mastercard

When is the promo period?

The promo period is from November 16, 2022 to March 16, 2023. Redemption is sixty (60) days from the date of earning/posting of reward/s at the eGC Hub.

How do I qualify for the promo?

To qualify for the promo, cardholders must fulfill the following requirements:

a. The Principal cardholder must register via the registration portal. Cardholder will be asked to provide his/her unique promo code sent by BPI through SMS, Viber, and/or E-mail. A confirmation page will prompt, confirming receipt of his/her registration.

b. Cardholder may also register via text-in by texting BPI<SPACE>VISAREG<SPACE><8 ALPHANUMERIC PROMO CODE> to 225687. Example: BPI VISAREG 1234ABCD A confirmation text message from Giftaway will be sent confirming receipt of his/her registration.

c. Cardholder may also register by scanning the promo QR code found in the campaign’s tent cards and select OOH ads. From here, they can access the registration portal.

d. The Principal cardholder will receive a notification message from Giftaway on his/her successful registration through SMS and/or E-mail and a unique portal link for the eGC Hub within five to seven (5-7) banking days from the date of registration.

Will the transactions made before my registration be included in the spend accumulation?

No. Only qualified transactions made starting from the date of registration will qualify for the promo. Transactions made prior to the date of registration will not be part of the spend accumulation.

Which is my registration date since I received two separate notifications after I registered?

Your registration date is indicated in the validation confirmation notification you received via SMS and/or E-mail.

How much should I spend for my transactions to qualify for the accumulated spend?

A minimum of Php 1,000 straight single-receipt purchase is required for every qualified spend.  

What are the transactions qualified for this promo?

Posted transactions from below are included in the promo:

a. Straight Retail transactions (Local)
b. Auto Charge
c. Online or Internet Transactions
d. Special Installment Plan (SIP) transactions via Merchants
e. Foreign Currency Purchases (Straight only)
f. Mail Order/Telephone Order (MOTO)

What transactions are not qualified for this promo?

The following transactions are excluded in the promo:



MCCs: Merchant category code (MCC) is a four-digit number assigned to every business that applies to accept credit cards. The number corresponds to the type of business or service the company offers.

How do I unlock the bonus round?

The cardholder must reach the minimum accumulated spend of the promo in order to unlock the bonus round.


Will my accumulated spend transactions credit to my bonus round progress as well?

If the qualified transactions match the category of the bonus round, then said transaction will be credited to both the accumulated spend progress and bonus round progress.

e.g. SIP merchant transaction worth Php 25,000 made from an electronics/gadgets category store = one (1) SIP Merchant installment and one (1) electronics/gadget spend.

When is the registration period?

The Principal cardholder can register from November 16, 2022 to March 16, 2023.

How do I register?

a. Via the registration portal. Cardholder will be asked to provide his/her unique promo code sent via BPI through SMS, Viber and/or E-mail.

b. Via text-in by sending BPI<SPACE>VISAREG<SPACE><8 ALPHANUMERIC PROMO CODE> to 225687.

c. Via scanning of the promo QR code found in the campaign’s tent cards and select OOH ads. From here, they can access the registration portal.

I have multiple BPI Credit Cards, should I register each of my BPI Visa Credit Card?

Each Principal cardholder will have one (1) unique promo code. Multiple BPI Credit Cards sharing the same customer number will be considered as one unique customer.

I have a Visa and Mastercard BPI Credit Card. If I register my Visa Credit Card, will transactions using my Mastercard Credit Card also be qualified?

No. Only transactions from your qualified BPI Visa Credit Cards will accumulate spend and will be entitled for the bonus round. 

I am a Supplementary Cardholder, can I register for the promo?

No, only the Principal cardholder can register for the promo. However, all qualified purchases made by the Principal cardholder’s supplementary participating credit card(s) will also qualify for the spend accumulation.

How will I know if my registration entry was received?

After the Principal cardholder submits his/her registration, a page will prompt confirming receipt of his/her registration. The Principal cardholder will be notified by Giftaway on the registration result through SMS and/or E-mail within five to seven (5-7) banking days from the registration date.

How will I know if my registration was successful?

The Principal cardholder will be notified on the registration result through his/her registered contact information via SMS and/or Email in BPI’s Credit Cards system within five to seven (5-7) banking days from the registration date.

I registered to the promo via the registration portal but did not get any response (No acknowledgment or Error message)

Please follow the registration instructions. The Principal cardholder must register via the registration portal. The cardholder will be asked to provide his/her unique promo code sent by BPI through SMS, Viber and/or E-mail. Also, the Principal cardholder must have updated contact details in the BPI’s Credit Cards system records where he/she will receive his/her unique promo code and registration confirmation.

How will I know my unique promo code if I did not receive it through SMS, Viber or E-mail?

The Principal cardholder’s unique promo code will be sent to the mobile number and/or e-mail address in BPI’s Credit Cards system records. Cardholder will not be able to receive the communications with the promo code:

a. If his/her contact details are not updated. Cardholder may call the 24-hour BPI Contact Center at (+632) 889-10000 to inquire about his or her unique promo code.

b. If the mobile number and/or e-mail address is not updated in BPI’s Credit Cards system records, it is the responsibility of the Principal cardholder to update his/her contact by visiting the nearest BPI Branch.

c. If the BPI Visa Credit Card of the Principal cardholder is blocked. 

d. If the cardholder opted out of receiving BPI communications materials.

I registered to the promo via the registration portal using the unique promo code sent by BPI via SMS, Viber, or email and received an acknowledgement via the registration portal indicating that my registration has been received and submitted for validation. However, I did not receive an email and/or SMS registration after five to seven (5-7) banking days. What should I do?

a. In case you have not received your registration confirmation via email in your normal inbox, you may check your spam or junk mail folder;

b. You may also try logging in the eGC Hub using your unique promo code to see if you are already registered; or

c. You may call the 24-hour BPI Contact Center at (+632) 889-10000 to inquire if you are already registered after five to seven (5-7) banking days from your registration in the portal.

Where can I redeem my eGC?

The Principal cardholder must choose among the featured eGC partners in dining, shopping, supermarket and eCommerce categories.


When is the redemption period?

Earned eGCs can be redeemed within sixty (60) days from the posting date of the same at the eGC hub. Each eGC will have a redemption period displayed in the portal.



a. For the tiered rewards or eGCs, redemption can be made within sixty (60) days from the date of earning/posting of rewards at the eGC hub. The validity date will be visible in the portal for the cardholder’s reference.
 
b. For the bonus eGifts, redemption can be made within sixty (60) days from the date of completion of the Bonus Rounds (5 categories, 3 more categories and 1 SIP merchant). The validity date will be visible in the eGC hub for the cardholder's reference.

How do I redeem my eGC?

a. Principal cardholder must select "Claim Now" and choose the eGift store for redemption.

b. A confirmation page will be prompted, followed by the redemption notification sent via the cardholders’ registered contact information (SMS and/or email) in BPI’s Credit Cards system records.  
   
c. Principal cardholder will receive the eGift code from Giftaway via his/her registered mobile and/or email, with a link on how to use his/her redemption code. Specific redemption instructions are provided per merchant.  

d. The redemption code is transferable to the cardholders’ nominated recipient as long as he/she meets the requirements in using the redemption code.

e. The unique portal link can be found from the notification message sent via Giftaway for his/her successful registration through SMS and/or E-mail. Alternatively, the cardholder may access the self-help link to be able to recover unique redemption link. The cardholder will be asked to provide his/her unique promo code. The Principal cardholder will receive an OTP via his/her registered contact info for validation, and if successful, the Principal cardholder will be routed to his/her unique redemption page via the eGC Hub

How many eGCs can I earn from this promo?

The Principal cardholder can earn up to maximum of Php 5,000 worth of eGCs (in Php 500 denominations). All terms and conditions relating to the use of eGC code redemption per merchant, as indicated in the redemption portal, shall apply. The Principal cardholder is only allowed to redeem once. Once a valid redemption has been made, the Principal cardholder will no longer qualify to accumulated spend and will no longer qualify for the next tier.



Can I use my eGC more than once?

No. The eGCs can only be used once.

What is the validity of the eGC?

All unused and unredeemed eGC will be deactivated sixty (60) days from the date of posting of each eGC at the eGC Hub. Redemption period for the eGC posted in the eGC Hub will reflect the corresponding redemption period.

How do I unlock the bonus round?

The Principal cardholder must first reach the Php 100,000 accumulated spend tier and make a spend in at least five (5) or more categories to unlock the bonus eGift or Special Installment Plan spend at merchant.

What bonus eGifts can I get?


How many bonus eGifts can I earn from this promo?

The Principal cardholder who has successfully completed the spending requirement in at least five (5) unique categories or makes a Special Installment transaction at Merchant is entitled to the bonus eGift(s).



Can I use the bonus eGift more than once?

No. The bonus eGift can only be used once.

What is the validity of the bonus eGift?

The bonus eGift is valid for sixty (60) days from the date of posting at the eGC hub, after which it will be deactivated. Redemption period for the eGC posted in the eGC hub will reflect the corresponding redemption period. 

If I already completed the five (5) or more categories, can I claim my bonus eGift before I complete the accumulated spend progress?

No. You must first complete the Php 100,000 accumulated spend before you can claim your bonus eGift(s).

Can I claim my eGCs before I complete the bonus round?

Yes. You can claim your eGCs and complete the bonus round later on. 

Will my spend progress from my previous credit card remain if I upgrade my credit card?

Yes, the spend progress will remain even after upgrading your credit card.

I am not a Visa Signature cardholder, can I also claim from the premium eGifts?

No. Only Visa Signature cardholders can claim the premium bonus eGift.

I am a Visa Signature cardholder, can I also claim from the non-premium eGifts?

Yes. Visa Signature cardholders may claim from either the premium eGifts or regular eGifts.

I want to cancel and change the item that I redeemed. Would that be allowed?

No. Once a valid redemption is made, it cannot be canceled, reversed, or applied to another item, or eGC. 

I lost my eGC(s) redemption link. Can I request for resending of my code?

No. The Principal cardholder can access the self-help link to be able to login to the eGC hub. He/She will be asked to provide his/her unique promo code. He/She will receive an OTP via his/her registered contact information for validation, and if successful, he/she will be routed to his/her eGC hub.
