Until when is the promo period?

Promo period is from January 28, 2022 until April 30, 2022. Promo is extended until May 9, 2022 as approved by DTI-FEB. In order to be eligible for this promo, you must apply for a BPI Credit Card within those dates and be subsequently approved.

How do I apply for a BPI Credit Card?

You may apply for a BPI Credit Card through the following channels:

Are all BPI Credit Card variants included in the promo?

No, this promo is only for the following BPI Credit Card variants:

a. BPI Visa Signature
b. BPI Platinum Rewards Mastercard
c. BPI Gold Mastercard
d. BPI Amore Cashback Card
e. BPI Blue Mastercard

I am an existing BPI Credit Cardholder. Am I eligible for the promo?

No, this promo is only for new BPI Principal Credit Cardholders. Existing BPI Credit Cardholders and Supplementary Cards are not eligible for the promo.

The promo mechanics say I have 180 days to meet the minimum spend requirement. How will I know when that 180-day spend period starts?

You may refer to the spend period calendar below:

How will I know if I qualified for the promo?

We will send out an advisory through email and/or SMS to customers who qualified for the promo.

If I qualify for the promo, when can I expect to get the rewards?

The card-specific reward, which may be in the form of Real Thrills Rewards Premium points, Real Thrills Rewards Regular points, or Cashback, shall be credited to the qualified Principal Cardholder’s account within seven (7) banking days from receipt of email and/or SMS notification.

The Annual Membership Fee Waiver for Life shall be effective immediately once you have been determined to qualify for the promo.

If I qualify, are the rewards I get transferrable?

No, the Annual Membership Fee Waiver for Life, Real Thrills Rewards Premium points, Real Thrills Rewards Regular points, and Cashback Credits are not convertible to cash or in-kind, and are also non-transferrable.

I applied for a BPI Credit Card on May 9, 2022 but only got approved on May 10, 2022. Am I still eligible for the promo?

Yes, you are still eligible for the promo as long as your Credit Card application that subsequently got approved is within the promo period. Kindly follow the table given above to know when your spend period is to meet the minimum spend requirement, as well as when you can expect our advisory and the crediting of your reward, should you qualify.

I applied for two (2) eligible Credit Card variants within the promo period. Do I get the Annual Membership Fee Waiver and product specific reward for both my Credit Cards?

No, each qualified Principal Cardholder may only be awarded the Annual Membership Fee Waiver and card-specific reward once, and only for one eligible Credit Card. In case the applicant applied for multiple Credit Cards and qualified for multiple AMF Waivers and card-specific rewards, the card that was applied for first will be followed.

Example: Customer applied for and subsequently got approved for two Credit Cards within the promo period:
Customer A applied for a BPI Amore Cashback on January 28, 2022 and subsequently got approved. Customer A also applied for a BPI Visa Signature on February 15, 2022 and subsequently got approved.

Customer A met the minimum spend requirement of Php 60,000 over 180 days for his BPI Amore Cashback Card, and also met the minimum spend requirement of Php 100,000 over 180 days for his BPI Visa Signature.
Following this, Customer A will only receive:
1. AMF Waiver for his BPI Amore Cashback
2. 5,000 Cashback

Customer A will not receive an AMF Waiver for his BPI Visa Signature, nor will he receive 70,000 Real Thrills Rewards Premium Points.

I applied for two (2) eligible Credit Card variants on the same day, within the promo period. Do I get the Annual Membership Fee Waiver and product specific reward for both my Credit Cards?

No, each qualified Principal Cardholder may only be awarded the Annual Membership Fee Waiver and card-specific reward once, and only for one eligible Credit Card. In case an applicant applied for two (2) Credit Cards on the same day, subsequently got approved for both cards, and also met the minimum spend requirement for both cards, the following hierarchy will be followed to determine which Card the AMF Waiver will be applied to, and which product-specific reward will be awarded to the Cardholder.

In order of priority:
1. BPI Visa Signature
2. BPI Platinum Rewards Mastercard
3. BPI Gold Mastercard
4. BPI Amore Cashback Card
5. BPI Blue Mastercard

Example: Customer applied for two Credit Cards on the same day and subsequently got approved for both:
Customer B applied for a BPI Amore Cashback Card on January 28, 2022 and subsequently got approved. Customer B also applied for a BPI Visa Signature on January 28, 2022 and subsequently got approved.

Customer B met the minimum spend requirement of Php 60,000 over 180 days for his BPI Amore Cashback Card, and also met the minimum spend requirement of Php 100,000 over 180 days for his BPI Visa Signature.
Following this, Customer B will only receive:
1. AMF Waiver for his BPI Visa Signature 2. 70,000 Real Thrills Rewards Premium points (convertible to 10,000 shopping credits)

Customer B will not receive an AMF Waiver for his BPI Amore Cashback Card, nor will he receive 5,000 cashback.

I am a Principal Cardholder. Do my Supplementary Card’s transactions count towards the minimum spend requirement of the promo?

Yes, your Supplementary Card’s transactions are accumulated and are considered part of the Principal cardholder’s total transactions for this promo. Only the Principal Card will be awarded the AMF Waiver for Life and card-specific reward.
