Who can join the promo?

The promo is open to all Principal Cardholders of the following BPI Mastercard Credit Cards which are active and in good credit standing, have available credit limit, have valid and updated mobile number and/or email address in BPI Credit Cards’ system record:

Blue Mastercard, eCredit Mastercard, Edge Mastercard, Gold Mastercard, and Petron-BPI Mastercard

What cards are not qualified for the promo?

The following BPI Credit Cards are NOT qualified to join the promo: Amore Visa, Amore Visa Platinum, Visa Signature Card, Corporate Classic, Corporate Mastercard, and BPI Family Credit Card

When is the promo period?

Promo period is from May 17, 2021 to August 16, 2021.

How do I qualify for the promo?

To qualify for the promo, cardholders must fulfill the following requirements:

a. The Principal Cardholder must register via the registration portal. Cardholder will be asked to provide his unique promo code sent by BPI through SMS, Viber and/or E-mail. A confirmation page will prompt, confirming receipt of his registration.

b. The Principal Cardholder will receive a notification message from Giftaway on his successful registration through SMS and/or e-mail and a unique portal link for the eGC hub within five (5) banking days from the registration date.

What are the transactions qualified for this promo?

a. Local and International: Retail/Straight Transactions
b. Special Installment Plan (SIP) transactions: Real 0% and Special Installment Plan (SIP) transactions Monthly Add-on at Merchants
c. Auto Charge    
d. Foreign Currency Purchases (Straight only)
e. Online or Internet Transactions    
f. Mail Order/Telephone Order (MOTO)

What are the transactions NOT qualified for this promo?

a. Cash advances (local or international)
b. Transactions from casino/gambling, money transfers, quasi cash financial i nstitution, political organizations and bail & bond payment
c. Redemptions of rebates or Real Thrill Rewards
d. Transactions from stock trading, foreign exchange trading, financial trading services, remittance and the like; mobile payment/mobile wallet transactions and online payment system (such as but not limited to GrabPay, GCash, PayMaya, PayPal, Coins.ph, and the like)
e. Special Installment Plan (SIP) transactions via  Balance Transfer, Credit-to-Cash, other Non-Retail SIP Loan products
f. Business transactions such as but not limited to (i) direct or multi-level marketing, as well as from merchants specifically engaged in wholesale and distribution (ii) payment services and (iii) professional services.

When is the registration period?

The Principal Cardholder can register from May 17, 2021 to August 16, 2021.

How do I register?

The Principal Cardholder must register via the registration portal. Cardholder will be asked to provide his unique promo code sent via BPI through SMS, Viber and/or E-mail.

I have multiple BPI Credit Cards, should I register each of my BPI Mastercard Credit Card?

Each Principal Cardholder will have one (1) unique promo code. Multiple BPI Credit Cards sharing the same customer number will be considered as one unique customer.

I have a Mastercard and Visa BPI Credit Card. If I register my Mastercard, will transactions using my Visa card also be qualified?

No. Only transactions from qualified BPI Mastercard Credit Cards will be included in the computation of the minimum accumulated spend requirement.

I am a Supplementary Cardholder, can I register for the promo?

No, only the Principal Cardholder can register for the promo. However, all qualified purchases made by the Principal Cardholder’s supplementary participating credit card(s) will be included in the computation of the minimum accumulated spend requirement.

How will I know if my registration entry was received?

After the Principal Cardholder submits his registration, a page will prompt, confirming receipt of his registration. The Principal Cardholder will be notified by Giftaway on the registration result through SMS and/or E-mail within five (5) banking days from the registration date.

How will I know if my registration was successful?

The Principal Cardholder will be notified of the registration result through his registered contact information via SMS and/or Email in BPI Credit Cards’ system within five (5) banking days from the registration date.

I registered to the promo via the portal but did not get any response (No acknowledgment or Error message)

Please follow the registration instruction. The Principal Cardholder must register via the registration portal. Cardholder will be asked to provide his unique promo code sent via BPI through SMS, Viber and/or E-mail. Also, the Principal Cardholder must have an updated contact details in the BPI Credit Cards’ system where he will receive his unique promo code and registration confirmation.

How will I know my unique promo code if I did not receive it through SMS, Viber or E-mail?

The Principal Cardholder’s unique promo code will be sent to the mobile number and/or e-mail address in BPI Credit Cards’ system records. Cardholder will not be able to receive the communications with the promo code if his contact details are not updated. 

Cardholder may call our 24-hour BPI Contact Center at (+632) 889-10000 to inquire for his unique promo code.

If the mobile number and/or e-mail address is not updated in BPI Credit Card’s system records, it is the responsibility of the Principal Cardholder to update his contact through our 24-hour BPI Contact Center at (+632) 889-10000 or any BPI branch.

I lost my device and can no longer recall my unique promo code.

Cardholder may call our 24-hour BPI Contact Center (+632) 889-10000 to inquire for his unique promo code.

Redemption

When is the redemption period?

Redemption Period is from May 18, 2021 to October 15, 2021.

What can I redeem once I reach a spend hurdle?

Cardholders have to reach the minimum accumulated spend hurdle of their preferred eGC reward within the promo period.

Minimum Accumulated Spend Tier
Php 50,000 - Php 1,000 eGC value
Php 100,000 - Php 3,000 eGC value
Php 150,000 - Php 6,000 eGC value

How do I redeem my eGC?

Once Cardholder reaches a spend tier, Cardholder must access his unique redemption portal where he can redeem his unlocked reward.

a. Cardholders must select Claim Now and choose the eGift Store for redemption.
b. A confirmation page will prompt, followed by the redemption notification sent via Cardholders' registered contact info (SMS and/or email).
c. Cardholder will receive an eGift code from Giftaway via his registered mobile and/or email, with a link on how to use his redemption code. Specific redemption instructions are provided per merchant.
d. The redemption code is transferable to the Cardholders' nominated recipient as long as he meets the requirements in using the redemption code.

The unique portal link is found from the notification message sent via Giftaway for his successful registration through SMS and/or E-mail.

Alternatively, Cardholder may access the self-help link to be able to recover a unique redemption link. The Cardholder will be asked to provide his unique promo code. Cardholder will receive an OTP via his registered contact info for validation, and if successful, cardholder will be routed to his unique redemption page.

How many times can I redeem for this promo?

The Principal Cardholder is allowed only for a one (1) time redemption. Once a valid redemption has been made, Cardholder will no longer be qualified to accumulate spend and may no longer qualify for the higher tier.

Can I use my eGC more than once?

No. The eGCs can only be used once.

Once I claim my eGC, will I be allowed to have multiple redemptions at multiple accredited Giftaway merchant partners per day?

Redemption to multiple merchant partners per day is allowed as long as they have unredeemed eGCs. However, the number of redemptions per partner, per day varies per merchant. All terms and conditions relating to the eGC redemption as indicated in the redemption portal shall apply.

I want to cancel and change the item that I redeemed. Would that be allowed?

No. Once a valid redemption is made, it cannot be cancelled, reversed or applied to another item, or eGC.

I lost my eGC(s) and redemption link. Can I request for resending of my codes?

No. The Cardholder can access the self-help link to be able to recover a unique redemption link. The Cardholder will be asked to provide his unique promo code. Cardholder will receive an OTP via his registered contact information for validation, and if successful, Cardholder will be routed to his unique redemption page.
