Systems Maintenance from October 1, 2022 to October 2, 2022



As we continue to work on enhancing your banking experience, we will undergo a scheduled systems maintenance activity from October 1, 2022 (Saturday), 11:00 PM to October 2, 2022 (Sunday), 7:00 AM.


During this time, the following services will be temporarily unavailable:

  • BPI Channels - ATMs and Cash Accept Machines (CAMs), BPI Online and BPI Mobile app, BPI BizLink, and BPI BizKo
  • BPI Debit, Credit, and Prepaid Cards
  • BPI services using BPI Online credentials in partner websites and apps, interbank funds transfer to BPI, and funding of BPI Prepaid Cards

Frequently asked questions

When will the systems maintenance activity take place and which BPI services will be unavailable during the activity?

We will undergo a scheduled systems maintenance activity from October 1, 2022 (Saturday), 11:00 PM to October 2, 2022 (Sunday), 7:00 AM.

During this time, the following services will be temporarily unavailable:

a. BPI Channels - ATMs and Cash Accept Machines (CAMs), BPI Online and BPI Mobile app, BPI BizLink, and BPI BizKo
b. BPI Debit Cards, BPI Credit Cards, and BPI Prepaid Cards
c. BPI services using BPI Online credentials in partner websites and apps, interbank funds transfer to BPI, and funding of BPI Prepaid Cards

BizLink services will resume at 7:00 AM on October 2, 2022.

Who will be affected by the systems maintenance activity?

All BPI clients who plan to use BPI ATMs and CAMs, BPI Online credentials in partner apps and websites, BPI Debit Cards, BPI Credit Cards, BPI Prepaid Cards, BPI BizKo and BPI BizLink.

Will the branches be open to assist me?

We encourage you to plan ahead and schedule your branch visits and transactions before the systems maintenance activity. For your next branch visit, you may check our branch schedule here.

I have bills to pay on these dates. When and how should I pay them?

Please pay your bills ahead of the systems maintenance activity to avoid possible penalties and charges.

I have scheduled payments through BPI Auto Debit Arrangement (ADA) on those dates. Will this maintenance activity affect my BPI ADA transactions?

Your scheduled BPI ADA transactions that fall within the duration of the system maintenance activity will not be processed. Please coordinate with your biller for your new schedule.

Can I withdraw using my BPI Debit Card from BPI and non-BPI ATMs during the systems maintenance activity?

No. Please plan ahead and make your cash withdrawals at any time before 11:00 PM on October 1, 2022, or after 7:00 AM on October 2, 2022.

Can I do international withdrawals?

No. All BPI Debit Card, BPI Credit Card, and BPI Prepaid Card services, including international withdrawals, will be unavailable during the systems maintenance activity.  

I have a non-BPI card (local or foreign), can I still use BPI ATMs?

Yes. Your card issuer may charge fees on top of BPI fees to process your transaction.

If I need money, in cases of emergency, what are my options?

We encourage you to plan accordingly and do your urgent transactions (CAM deposits, ATM withdrawals, and BPI Online and BPI Mobile app transactions) before the systems maintenance activity.

I have post-dated checks scheduled on those dates. Will the downtime have an effect on my post-dated checks?

Since the maintenance activity will happen on a weekend, when there is no clearing of checks, your post-dated checks will not be affected. However, please ensure that your checking accounts are sufficiently funded.

When can I see my updated transaction history and/or statement of account?

Your transaction history will be updated right after the completion of the systems maintenance activity.
