Systems Maintenance from October 8, 2021 to October 9, 2021


To make sure everything keeps working well, we will undergo a scheduled systems maintenance activity from October 8, 2021 (Friday), 10:00 PM to October 9, 2021 (Saturday), 5:00 PM.   


During this time, the following services will be temporarily unavailable:

Online banking   

  • Mobile app
  • Use of BPI Online credentials in partner apps and websites
  • ATMs and CAMs  
  • Debit card services  
  • Funding of Prepaid cards
  • BizLink platform (until 12:00 AM, October 10, Sunday)


Our credit card and prepaid card services will remain available.

 
Avoid getting hassled by planning accordingly and performing your urgent transactions (bills and loans payments, fund transfers, CAM deposits, and ATM withdrawals) before the weekend.

When will the scheduled systems maintenance activity take place?

Our systems maintenance activity is scheduled on October 8, 2021 (Friday), 10:00 PM, and will last until October 9, 2021 (Saturday), 5:00 PM.

Which prepaid and credit card services will be available?

Here are the available services for BPI Prepaid and BPI Credit Cards:

b. Cash Advance via non-BPI ATMs. This will be subject to Cash Advance and other applicable fees.

Who will be affected in the systems maintenance activity?

All clients of BPI and BPI Family Savings Bank.

Will the branches be open to assist me?

Branches are open from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM daily, Monday to Friday. We encourage you to plan ahead and schedule your branch visits and transactions before the maintenance activity.

I have bills to pay during those dates. When and how should I pay them?

We encourage you to pay your bills ahead of the system maintenance activity to avoid penalties and charges.

You may also pay your bills using your BPI Credit or Prepaid card.

I have post-dated checks scheduled on those dates. Will the downtime have an effect on my post-dated checks?

Since the activity will happen on a weekend, when there is no clearing of checks, your post-dated checks will not be affected. However, please ensure that your accounts are sufficiently funded.

Can I still withdraw from non-BPI ATMs using my BPI ATM/Debit card?

No. Debit card services are temporarily unavailable during the systems maintenance activity. Please withdraw cash ahead of time.

How about auto debit for my loans and other bills payments?

Auto-debit arrangements will take effect as usual. Please ensure that your accounts are sufficiently funded.
 

For my scheduled fund transfers and payments, when will my account be debited?

Scheduled fund transfers will take effect as usual, so please ensure that your accounts are sufficiently funded.

Can I do international withdrawals?

All debit card services, including international withdrawals, will be unavailable during the maintenance activity.

When can I see my updated transaction history and/or statement of account?

Your transaction history will be updated right after the systems maintenance activity is completed.

If I need money, in cases of emergency, what are my options?

Cash Options
a. If you have a BPI Credit card, you can do Cash Advance via non-BPI ATMs. You will need your PIN to activate Cash Advance. This will be subject to Cash Advance and other service fees.
b. If you have a pre-loaded ePay Mastercard/Visa prepaid card, you can withdraw via non-BPI ATMs. You will need your PIN to activate and proceed with your withdrawal. This will be subject to non-BPI ATM usage fees.

Payment Options

a. You may use your BPI credit card for in-store and online purchases.
b. You may use your retail or corporate ePay Mastercard/Visa and Amore Visa for in-store and online purchases.

We encourage you to plan ahead and schedule your transactions or to withdraw cash prior to the maintenance activity.
