Systems Maintenance from November 19, 2021 to November 20, 2021


To make sure everything keeps working well, we will undergo a scheduled systems maintenance activity from November 19, 2021, Friday, 10:00 PM, to November 20, 2021, Saturday, 10:00 PM.

                                                                                 

During this time, the following services will be temporarily unavailable:

  • BPI ATMs and Cash Accept Machines (CAMs)
  • BPI Online and BPI Mobile app
  • BPI Debit Cards
  • Use of BPI Online credentials in partner apps and websites
  • Funding of Prepaid cards
  • BizLink platform


Our BPI Credit Card and  BPI Prepaid Card services will remain available.


We encourage you to plan your transactions (CAM deposits, ATM withdrawals, BPI Online, and BPI Mobile app transactions) accordingly.


Frequently asked questions

When will the scheduled systems maintenance activity take place?

Our systems maintenance activity will be from November 19, 2021, Friday, 10:00 PM, to November 20, 2021, Saturday, 10:00 PM.

Who will be affected by the systems maintenance activity?


All clients of BPI, BPI Family Savings Bank, and BPI Direct BanKo who plan to use BPI Channels  or BPI Debit Cards.

Which BPI services will be unavailable during the activity?

a. BPI ATMs and Cash Accept Machines (CAMs)
b. BPI Online and BPI Mobile app
c. BPI Debit Cards
d. Use of BPI Online credentials in partner apps and websites
e. Funding of Prepaid cards
f. BizLink platform
g. BizLink Mobile app

Our BPI Credit Card and BPI Prepaid Card services will remain available.

Which BPI Prepaid and Credit Card services will be available?

Here are the available services for BPI Prepaid and BPI Credit Cards:
 
BPI Prepaid Cards (based on applicable BPI Prepaid Card features)
a. In-store and online purchases provided that the BPI Prepaid Card is funded
b. Withdrawals via non-BPI ATMs, subject to ATM usage fee
 
BPI Credit Cards
a. In-store and online purchases
b. Cash Advance via non-BPI ATMs, subject to Cash Advance fee and other applicable fees.

Will the branches be open to assist me?


Branches are open from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM daily, Monday to Friday. We encourage you to plan ahead and schedule your branch visits and transactions before the systems maintenance activity.

I have bills to pay during those dates. When and how should I pay them?


We encourage you to pay your bills ahead of the system maintenance activity to avoid penalties and charges.

You may also pay your bills using your BPI Credit or BPI Prepaid card.

I have scheduled payments through BPI electronic Auto Debit Arrangement (ADA) on those dates. Will this downtime affect my BPI ADA transactions?

No. Your payments enrolled in BPI ADA will still proceed as scheduled even if they fall on November 19, 2021 or November 20, 2021. Please make sure that your accounts are sufficiently funded.

Can I withdraw using my BPI Debit Card from BPI and non-BPI ATMs during the maintenance activity?

No. Please plan ahead and make your cash withdrawals at any time before 10:00 PM on November 19, 2021, or after 10:00 PM on November 20, 2021.

Can I do international withdrawals?

All BPI Debit Card services, including international withdrawals, will be unavailable during the systems maintenance activity.

You may use your funded BPI Prepaid Card or BPI Credit Card for international withdrawals or cash advances, subject to applicable fees.

I have a non-BPI card (Local or Foreign), can I still use BPI ATMs?

No. We recommend that you plan your transactions prior to or after the scheduled downtime. Your card issuer may charge fees on top of BPI fees to process your transaction.

If I need money, in cases of emergency, what are my options?

Cash Options
a. If you have a BPI Credit card, you can do Cash Advance via non-BPI ATMs. You will need your PIN to activate Cash Advance. This will be subject to Cash Advance and other service fees.
b. If you have a pre-loaded ePay Mastercard/Visa prepaid card, you can withdraw via non-BPI ATMs. You will need your PIN to activate and proceed with your withdrawal. This will be subject to non-BPI ATM usage fees.

Payment Options
a. You may use your BPI credit card for in-store and online purchases.
b. You may use your retail or corporate ePay Mastercard/Visa and Amore Visa for in-store and online purchases.

We encourage you to plan ahead and schedule your transactions or to withdraw cash prior to the maintenance activity.

What would be the effect of the system maintenance activity to all my scheduled transactions in BizLink?

a. BizLink will be unavailable from November 19 (Friday), 10PM and will only resume on November 21 (Sunday), 12 midnight.
b. Pay Employees Batch transactions scheduled on November 20 will take effect as usual.
c. All other transactions scheduled on November 20, 2021 will not be processed. You may reschedule your transaction at an earlier date, or re-upload and approve your transactions once the system becomes available.

I have post-dated checks scheduled on those dates. Will the downtime have an effect on my post-dated checks?

Since the activity will happen on a weekend, when there is no clearing of checks, your post-dated checks will not be affected. However, please ensure that your corporate accounts are sufficiently funded.

When can I see my updated transaction history and/or statement of account?

Your transaction history will be updated right after the completion of the systems maintenance activity.
