Advisory: BPI Debit Mastercard Maintenance from September 4, 2021 to September 5, 2021
We will undergo a scheduled systems maintenance activity for our BPI Debit Mastercard from September 4, 2021 (Saturday), 11:00 PM, to September 5, 2021 (Sunday), 6:00 PM.
During this time, the following services will be temporarily unavailable:
- Transactions via BPI ATMs, Cash Accept Machines (CAMs), point-of-sale (POS) machines, and other banks’ ATMs and POS machines
- E-Commerce transactions
- Card Control services via BPI Online and Mobile app (adjusting withdrawal or purchase limits, enabling or disabling international and e-commerce access, and temporary or permanent card blocking)
- Password reset using debit card
- Activation of Mobile Number Update via BPI Mobile app
Our BPI Debit EMV Cirrus Card (Red and Gold), Credit Card, and Prepaid Card services will remain accessible.
Please plan your transactions accordingly.

I have scheduled payments enrolled in BPI electronic Auto Debit Arrangement (ADA) during those dates. Will this downtime affect my BPI ADA transactions?
No. Your payments enrolled in BPI ADA will still proceed as scheduled even if they fall on September 4 or September 5. Please make sure that your accounts are sufficiently funded.
a. For BPI Debit Mastercard, international services, including withdrawals, will not be available during the maintenance activity.
b. For BPI EMV Cirrus Debit Card (Red and Gold), international services, including withdrawals, will be available during the maintenance activity.
Cash Options
a. You may use your BPI Credit Card in BPI ATMs to make a Cash Advance. Please note that standard Cash Advance fees will apply.
b. You may use your BPI Prepaid Card in BPI ATMs. Service fees may apply.
c. You may use your BPI Debit EMV Cirrus Card (Red and Gold) in BPI ATMs.
Payment Options
a. You may use your BPI Credit Card for in-store and online purchases.
b. You may use your BPI Prepaid Card for in-store and online purchases.
c. You may use your BPI Debit EMV Cirrus Card (Red and Gold) for in-store purchases.
