Advisory: The application period for the 90-day deferred payment program for frontliners ended last April 30, 2020. All requests emailed on or before that date are already being processed.


To all healthcare workers and frontliners who are currently helping in the COVID-19 situation, we applaud your sacrifice and dedication to serve our fellow countrymen during this difficult time. We want you to focus on the more important tasks at hand.


As such, we are offering a 90-day grace period for qualified credit card and loans clients. You can defer your payment without late payment fees and interest charges.


With this, we hope that you'll have one less thing to worry about so you can concentrate in your selfless efforts to help the country in this pandemic.

What is the 90-day Grace Period Payment Option?

It is a deferred payment option that allows select BPI Credit Cardholders to defer their payments for their credit card dues  for 3 months without late charges. These are for the healthcare workers and other front liners who are directly confronting the COVID-19 situation.

Who can apply for the grace period payment option?

BPI Credit Cardholders whose current employment or occupation is any of the following:

1. Healthcare workers / Medical practitioners  
2. Military personnel
3. Police personnel

How will I know if I am qualified to avail of the 90 days grace period payment option? How can I avail of this program?

You need to send your request to avail of this payment option by sending an email to ulcg_cc@bpi.com.ph.

1. Indicate in the email subject line: CC 90-Day Grace Period_<Customer Name>

2. In the body, please indicate:
a. Customer Name
b. 16- digit Customer Number or Card Number

3. Include as attachment at least one of the required documents based on your profession.

I did not qualify based on my initial application, can I request for a re-consideration?

The qualification of the customer is based on the documents initially provided. You may send us another email with additional documents to support your appeal. We will review and re-evaluate the application. The decision shall be sent to you once approved, or otherwise.

I was only qualified for 30 days grace period payment option, can I request to extend to 90-days?

The qualification on the 90-day grace period is  for the identified customers listed above.  If you fall under any of these occupations, please send your request via email to ULCG_CC@BPI.COM.PH.

2. In the body, please indicate:
a. Customer Name
b. 16- digit Customer Number or Card Number

3. Include, as attachment, at least one of the required documents based on your profession (as listed above).

Will finance charges and late payment charges be waived?

Yes, both finance charges and late payment charges will be waived.

Up to when can I apply or request for the 90-day grace period?

You may enroll until April 30, 2020.

How will I know if I am qualified to avail of the 90-day grace period payment option? How can I avail of this program?

You need to send your request to avail of this payment option by sending an email to ulcg_cc@bpi.com.ph. on or before April 30, 2020.

What is the 90-day Grace Period Payment Option?

It is a deferred payment option for select BPI Personal Loans customers. These are for the healthcare workers and other frontliners currently helping in the COVID-19 situation.
 
This will allow them to defer their payments for their loan amortization with the following options:

A. DEFER. Option to defer the April, May and June amortizations further to the last 3 months of your loan term. Thus, for the last 3 months of your loan term, your monthly amortization amount will be doubled.

B. LUMP  SUM. This allows you to pay 3 months' worth of amortization as a lumpsum payment anytime within the remaining period of the loan term.

C. EXTEND. Your loan term will be extended for another 3 months. For example, your loan ending in July will instead end on October. This will require updating of the term by executing a new promissory note.

What are the payment options for my personal loan?

You can choose from the following payment options:

A. DEFER. Option to defer the April, May and June amortizations further to the last 3 months of your loan term. Thus, for the last 3 months of your loan term, your monthly amortization amount will be doubled.

If I avail of option A or B, will it affect my existing promissory note?

Availing of option A or B will not affect existing promissory note. Hence, clients do not need to call nor visit the branch. The details of the updated loan amortization agreement will be sent via email.

If I avail of option C, will it affect my existing promissory note?

Yes, you will need to sign a new promissory note to extend the loan term. You are required to visit the nearest open branch for this option because extension of the existing term will entail processing of new promissory note with a required wet signature. We will not be able to accommodate sending of the documents via email.
